One of Survivor Series most hotly anticipated matches is no more as Becky Lynch has been ruled out through injury.
During the main event segment of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live Womens Champion Lynch led the charge as the Blue Brand laid waste to RAW’s Womens division. However, during the fracas Becky Lynch caught a stray right hand from Nia Jax, causing her to bleed severely from the face and nose.
It was then revealed that Lynch suffered a broken face and a severe concussion, and as SmackDown went on the air it was revealed that she will not be able to face Ronda Rousey at the event. Later on, Lynch picked Charlotte Flair to be her replacement to face the Raw Women’s Champion.
This couldn’t have come at a worse time for Rousey and Lynch, as both women had really connected with the crowd in the last few weeks making this arguably the must-see match on the Survivor Series card.
