THE ROCK AND JOHN CENA’S STATUS’ FOR RAW

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, while The Rock has been approached for this Monday night, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Another star who was possibly expected, but who hasn’t been announced yet is John Cena. John was approached earlier this week and was very non-committal about the whole show:

“They say it’s going to be one of the biggest RAWs of all time, and it’s certainly memorable. Um…we’ll see?”

It is thought that Cena is already engaged in filming his latest movie at the moment. Dave Meltzer did mention the possibility of there being a SmackDown Reunion show when the brand moves to FOX in October, and that both stars would have been approached for that show. For now, we just have to watch this space and wait and see.

SMACKDOWN MATCHES REVEALED

In a host of SmackDown related announcements, WWE has announced that Ember Moon will square off against Charlotte Flair this coming Tuesday.

Flair only returned to SmackDown this past week, defeating Liv Morgan. Last week Moon teamed with Bayley and defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, after the match Bayley offered Moon a title match at SummerSlam. Moon accepted the match and WWE made it official on WWE.com.

Also Confirmed for SmackDown, Shane McMahon will address Kevin Owens regarding his recent behaviour, and Kofi Kingston will issue a SummerSlam Challenge.

BIG SHOW DOCUMENTARY AIR DATE ANNOUNCED

The long-awaited Big Show documentary, titled ‘Re-Building Big Show’, is set to air after WWE’s Smackville Network special.
