DANIEL BRYAN TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT

Post-Extreme Rules, Daniel Bryan went on a rant following using the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to The New Day, that he tried to take the tag team division to the main event and failed, before realizing that it was the other tag teams that brought him down.

Today on WWE.com, Daniel Bryan will be making “a career-altering announcement” on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. WWE.com added that “Bryan has promised that this will change the course of his career and shake SmackDown LIVE to its core.”

He was meant to be in the “Cross Brand All-Star Top 10 Battle Royal” on last night’s RAW, however, was replaced by Sami Zayn shortly after.

MICKIE JAMES INJURY UPDATE

Mickie James underwent surgery this week on her injured knee, which will keep her out for 7-to-9 months. Mickie suffered the knee injury while facing Carmella at the June 1 WWE live event in Waco, Texas.

Mickie, who turns 40 on August 31, tweeted before surgery today and seemed to indicate that there’s a chance she might not return to the ring.

However, James’ husband Nick Aldis tweeted post-surgery to let everyone know that it was successful.

This was the first surgery of Mickie James near twenty-year career.

WWE ANNOUNCES MORE SUPERSTARS FOR RAW REUNION

At Extreme Rules, WWE announced that next week’s RAW (22nd July) will be a ‘Raw Reunion’, noted as ‘the biggest reunion in WWE history’.

During the commercials on RAW, the following people were announced for next Monday.

  • Lilian Garcia
  • Alundra Blayze

They will be joining Steve Austin, Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash/Diesel, Scott Hall/Razor Ramon, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Booker T, X-Pac, Eric Bischoff, Santino Marella, D-Von Dudley, Ted DiBiase, Kurt Angle, Jerry Lawler, Christian, The Boogeyman, Jimmy Hart and the Hurricane.

RAW SUPERSTARS REACT TO CROWD REACTION DURING MATCH

During last night’s fatal four-way match between Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Naomi & Carmella, the crowd reacted negatively at a few moments, chanting “this is awful!” and “boring!” referencing Sasha Banks and duelling chants for John Cena.

Post-match, Alexa Bliss and Naomi reacted on Twitter.

MJF TO CHALLENGE FOR MLW MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE

MLW has announced that Middleweight Champion Teddy Hart will defend his title against MJF at Never Say Never at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York on Thursday, July 25.

MJF was the inaugural MLW Middleweight Champion but had to relinquish the title in December 2018 due to an injury, which Hart then won in a ladder match.

FENIX ELEVENTH ADDITION TO BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla added to their all-star list for the 2019 Battle of Los Angeles at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles.

One half of the Lucha Bros Fenix has been confirmed for this year’s tournament.

Fenix made his PWG debut in the 2015 Battle of Los Angeles and was also an entrant in the 2016 and 2017 editions of the tournament. He held the PWG Tag Team titles with Pentagon Jr.
