Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill Results

Paige Brearley runs down the results from Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill.

A history making night on the horizon, how will the night fair for the Impact Roster?

Ken Shamrock defeated Madman Fulton via Submission

Seems as though Fulton may have dislocated his shoulder in this one, whether it was storyline or not remains to be seen. Shamrock tried to get a stop to the match for the sake of Fulton, but Fulton wasn’t having it. He wound up paying for it because Shamrock had him all tied up in a submission, that he had to verbally tap out.

Ace Austin defeated Trey Miguel via Pinfall (Hurricanrana)

This one was a decent match, but an odd ending. Both men seemed to be on the verge of victory a few times, but the Greatest Ace pulled off what I think a few thought wouldn’t happen.

After the match, the ref helped Miguel up the ramp a little bit. While this was happening Ace Austin went over to Trey’s mom to try and get a kiss on the cheek. Trey saw this and ran back to beat Austin up. The two were eventually broken apart by the Rascalz and Reno Scum.

Before her match up ODB has an interview. She gives fans an update on her new food truck, which will be up and running in the Spring, and says that 2020 will continue to be good as she becomes a 5-time Knockouts Champion.

Taya Valkyrie defeated ODB and Jordynne Grace via Pinfall

A stolen victory to continue the long reign of Taya. While Grace seemed to be on the verge of victory, Taya’s friend John E Bravo helped distract the ref. This distraction left Taya enough time to cover ODB after all of Grace’s hard work and leave with the Knockouts Championship.

There was an RVD interview and well it was cringe worthy, so that’s all I’m going to say.

Rob Van Dam defeated Brian Cage via Ref Stoppage

This was just odd and didn’t seem like any Cage match I’ve ever seen. First RVD’s girlfriend’s girlfriend caused a distraction allowing RVD to have complete control of the match. Cage’s mouth was busted up at one point, which didn’t help when RVD went coast to coast hitting a chair into his face.

Once the ref called for a stoppage to the match, it didn’t seem like RVD knew what was going on. To be fair I was lost too. Daga came out from the back to check on Cage and stop RVD from causing anymore damage. This led to RVD attacking Daga and a new match occurred.

Rob Van Dam defeated Daga via Pinfall (Frog Splash)

Katie Forbes, just like the first match, put herself involved in this match as well. RVD securing two victories in the night, then sitting on the top rope watching Katie and her girlfriend celebrate was very weird.

An interviewer tried to get a word in with Sami Callihan, but that didn’t go so well. She was turned away by Jake Christ who would only say that Sami was fine.

Eddie Edwards defeated Michael Elgin via Pinfall

This match was brutal. Elgin had control for most of the match, at least once the men were out of the ring. Edwards wasn’t going to let his Call Your Shot trophy be in the hands of Elgin anymore though and pushed through to get the victory.

Moose defeated Rhino via Pinfall (Spear)

In a No DQ match anything can happen and this one had a lot of destruction. Tables were all over the place, just a lot of carnage. In the case of Spear vs Gore, seems the spear was the victor this go around.

We head backstage get an update on whether or not Rich Swann will be able to compete tonight. Unfortunately in the Impact event Friday, Swann suffered an ankle injury. The doctor told Swann that he was not going to be able to compete nor could he be ringside. Swann was less than thrilled about this, but Willie Mack tells him he has to do what is best for him and he’ll step up tonight.

The North defeated Willie Mack via Pinfall (Assisted Spinebuster)

Try as he might, Willie Mack just couldn’t secure the victory on his own. Mack put in a valiant effort, but The North are just too good.

A look back at the history between Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard is shown.

Tessa Blanchard defeated Sami Callihan via Pinfall (DDT)

Despite the controversy of the past few days, Tessa came ready for whatever Sami brought for her. The crowd in attendance were firmly in support of Tessa winning this match, which against all odds she did.

We close out the PPV with a shot of Tessa with the World title.
