JERRY LAWLER FILES WRONGFUL DEATH SUIT AGAINST HARDEMAN COUNTY

Last year, Brian Christopher Lawler passed away while in police custody. Today, lawyers working for Jerry Lawler announced that the former WWE star and commentator would be filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Hardeman Country, Tennessee.

The press release from Rosenblum & Reisman Attorneys at Law reads:

“Jerry Lawler filed a lawsuit on Friday, July 26, 2019, seeking justice for Brian Lawler’s family. Lawler is seeking compensatory damages and punitive damages in an amount to be determined by a jury for the numerous failures of the county and its employees that resulted in the wrongful death of his son, Brian Christopher Lawler. Lawler is also asking the court to order Sheriff Doolen to make changes at the Hardeman County Jail to protect all inmates from future harm.”

With the anniversary of Brian’s death occurring yesterday, it seems that Jerry, who doubted the ruling that Brian took his own life, has gathered the evidence he needs to take the county before a judge.
