IMPACT ANNOUNCE REBELLION 2020 PPV

During tonight’s Hard to Kill event, a video aired announcing that Rebellion 2020 will take place at Terminal 5 in New York City. It was revealed it will take place in April, with no specific date given.

The Rebel Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada hosted last year’s Rebellion PPV on April 28th. This will be the second Rebellion pay-per-view in Impact’s history.

TESSA BLANCHARD WINS IMPACT WORLD TITLE

Tessa Blanchard won the Impact World title by defeating Sami Callihan in the main event of last night’s ‘Hard To Kill’ event in Dallas, Texas.

After a controversial weekend involving allegations of bullying and racism from fellow professionals, Blanchard cut a promo post-match saying that everyone is ‘human’ and ‘we all make mistakes’.

Blanchard’s win is the first major World Title win in a major promotion for a female in professional wrestling and the second female to win a co-gendered promotions main title, the first being Kimber Lee in CHIKARA.

KENTUCKY CITY NAMED KING CORBIN FOR A DAY

The city of Corbin, Kentucky has temporarily changed their name to King Corbin following a campaign from WWE representatives.

To promote their house show at the Corbin Arena on January 12th, WWE representatives began a petition campaign in front of the town’s statue of Colonel Sanders to encourage residents to support the name change with many fans received free tickets for their trouble.

The stunt worked, as Mayor Suzie Razmus officially proclaimed that the city would be known as King Corbin for the day WWE was in town.

Corbin responded on Instagram saying;

“The royal power of @baroncorbinwwe knows no bounds!”

JAY WHITE CONFIRMED FOR SUPERCARD OF HONOR XIV

New Japan Pro Wrestling superstar Jay White has been confirmed for Ring Of Honor’s Supercard of Honor XIV.

The show is taking place at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, April 4th.

Villain Enterprises (ROH World Champion PCO, Marty Scurll, Brody King & Flip Gordon), La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, ROH Television Champion Dragon Lee, Kenny King & Amy Rose), Slex, and Session Moth Martina are the other names that have been advertised for Supercard of Honor XIV thus far.

Tickets for Supercard of Honor XIV will go on sale to HonorClub members this Wednesday at 10AM ET/3PM GMT and to the general public at 10AM ET/3PM this Friday.

MJF FINISHES UP WITH MLW

In a tweet that he posted today, MJF confirmed that he finished up with MLW at their Zero Hour television tapings in Texas over the weekend.

MJF is a former Middleweight and Tag Team champion for MLW. In the most recent televised episode of Fusion, Gino Medina joined The Dynasty alongside MJF, Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday.

It was announced in July that MJF had signed a multi-year contract extension with AEW.

WOMENS TITLE MATCH MADE FOR CHAPTER 101

Following an impressive showing at Unboxing Live 4, up and coming women’s talent Mercedes Blaze will get a shot at PROGRESS Women’s Champion Jinny in a title match.

Chapter 101: Dalmatians takes place this Sunday at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
