JIM ROSS TO SIT DOWN WITH SHAWN SPEARS

AEW announced today that good ol’ JR would be conducting a sit down interview with Shawn Spears.

The reason for the interview focuses around Shawn’s actions at Fyter Fest. During the event Shawn hit Cody in the back of the head, cutting him in the process. The act of seeing the unprotected chair shot drew the ire of the wrestling community, if nothing else for the shock value. While many fans remember the attitude era and the multitude of chair shots to the head, we now know much more about head injuries and their effects.

SASHA BANKS APPEARS IN JAPAN

While Sasha’s absence from WWE continues, there is very little progress with regard to her current position. The Boss has popped up on social media, this time hanging out with a who’s who of Japanese pro wrestling.

While in the land of the rising sun, Banks worked out with Reika Saiki who is currently signed to Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. She also had dinner with Naomichi Marufuji of Pro Wrestling Noah, and hung out with Mina Shirakawa.
