SmackDown Live Star wins 2017 Royal Rumble

THEY ASKED US TO ‘REMEMBER THE RUMBLE’ AND THEY CERTAINLY GAVE US A NIGHT WE WILL NOT FORGET.

In front of 52,000 plus at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas, SmackDown Live’s Randy Orton won the 30-man Royal Rumble, lastly eliminating the 30th entrant Roman Reigns. Highlights including The Undertaker being eliminated by Roman Reigns, Goldberg once again dominating Brock Lesnar, Baron Corbin shockingly eliminating Braun Strowman early and NXT’s Tye Dillinger coming out at number ten.

We also have a new WWE Champion as John Cena made it sixteen times, tying with Ric Flair by beating AJ Styles following two thunderous Attitude Adjustments. The WWE Universal Championship stayed where it was as Kevin Owens (with help from Braun Strowman) beat Roman Reigns in a no-disqualification match.

WWE Womens Champion Charlotte Flair bested Bayley, a new WWE Cruiserweight Champion was crowned as Neville defeated Rich Swann and there are also new Raw Tag Team Champions as The Club beat Sheamus and Cesaro.

Other matches saw Sasha Banks dominated by Nia Jax, and Naomi, Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella beat Alexa Bliss, Mickie James and Natalya.
