Will Ospreay vs Kota Ibushi made for WrestleKingdom

Will Ospreay has made his comeback after suffering a rib injury at a REV Pro event back in October. After surprising the world by announcing his return, it was revealed that he would compete in a number 1 contenders match with Taichi for the NEVER Openweight Championship. Ospreay had been booked for a match with Taichi for the same title back at the start of November but was kept on the sidelines with the aforementioned rib injury. In a match that focused on Will’s injured ribs, Ospreay held on to clinch the three count and another shot at the title, which means he will facing Kota ibushi at WrestleKingdom 13. Big Cass Suffers Seizure

During a House of Hardcore event former WWE superstar, Big Cass suffered what appeared to be a seizure in the arena lobby. Video of the event has surfaced and shows the big man on the floor being tended to by medical staff. Cass what as his merchandise table during intermission when he collapsed. Tommy dreamer addressed the incident later in the ring, asking the audience to say a prayer for the wrestler, he also made the point that it wasn’t drug related as he’d been with Cass all day. 

 

Evil and Sanada Win the World Tag League for the second time

Los Ingobernables de Japon defeated the team of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa in a thrilling main event. After a back and forth match EVIL hit darkness falls on Tonga, followed by a moonsalt by SANADA who then picked up the pinfall. This is the second year in a row LIJ have won the competition. After the match, the Young Bucks came to the ring and praised EVIL and SANADA commenting that they’d been the best team in the tournament, but saying that the Young Bucks were the best team in the world. Evil suggested a three-way match at Wrestle Kingdom but the Jacksons’ left without confirming either way.

 

Dakota Kai Injured?

Dakota Kai appeared to suffer a knee injury while competing at an NXT Live event this past Friday. During a 6 woman tag match featuring Kai, Kairi Sane, Candice LeRae, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, the referee made the ‘X’, meaning a competitor is injured. Dakota was helped to the back by staff at the event to receive treatment.
