MISSED ALL THE BIG NEWS IN WRESTLING? DO NOT FEAR WE WILL COVER ALL THE BIG STORIES IN ONE PLACE; THIS IS THE WRESTLING NEWS UPDATE!
AEW ANNOUNCE NEW SINGINGS
AEW tweeted late last night that they’d secured the signatures of two new stars. Stu Grayson and Evil Uno make up ‘The Dark Order’, a team formally known as ‘The Super Smash Bros’. The reason for the name change is thought to focus around the Nintendo copyright on their former name. While they may have been ignored on the indy scene, with AEW’s global appeal, it isn’t thought that Nintendo would continue turning a blind eye.
The pair made a huge impact at Double or Nothing, leaving Jack Evans and Angelico laying in the middle of the ring.
Earlier this year, the Young Bucks promised to make tag team wrestling a feature of AEW. With the huge names they have signed recently it looks to be a very healthy division.

LEGACY TALENT AND ENTERTAINMENT RESPOND TO THE NATURE BOYS CLAIMS
Last week Ric Flair took to YouTube and released a video slamming former friend and manager Melinda Zanoni. Ric accused his former manager of embezzling money. The video was quickly deleted from YouTube.
Legacy Talent and Entertainment, owned by Zanoni released the following statement today regarding the recent accusations:
Statement on behalf of Legacy Talent and Entertainment, LLC and Melinda Zanoni:
Today we have taken the first step and filed a Civil Lawsuit against Richard M. Fliehr a/k/a as Ric Flair and certain unnamed (for now) defendants for defamation per se and look forward to proving the falsity of every wrongful allegation contained in his video that was posted on YouTube on June 3, 2019. Ric Flair having taken down the video is not enough.
We will vigorously use the court system to protect our good names and reputations, and obtain damages due to Ric Flair’s defamatory comments contained in the video. We intend to amend the lawsuit to include all involved parties and hold all involved accountable.
We completely stand behind our client’s well known reputation for truthfulness, professionalism, honor, and integrity.
Ric has also accused Zanoni of purposely letting his “Wooooo!” and “Ric Flair” trademarks expire. Flair said he hoped the video got Zanoni disbarred. Flair has also apologised to Sting, Kurt Angle, and Mick Foley for introducing them to Zanoni.

ALEISTER BLACK SAYS CALL UP WAS LAST MINUTE DECISION
Aleister Back recently jointed Sheamus on his ‘Celtic Warrior Workouts’ series. The pair covered a lot of ground but focused on his career to this point and his recent move to the main roster. Talking of his call up, Black revealed that it had been a seemingly hastily made decision:
“I wasn’t scheduled to be called up. It was a last minute decision. I was just done (with a workout) and it was 11:30 and I didn’t have to be at the live event until 1:00. So, I was just going to take a 45-minute nap. I had my phone by me, and my phone starts to go off and its coach Bloom. He said, ‘I have some news for you’ and as a joke, I said ‘ you are firing me’. And he said, ‘Something like that, this Sunday you’re flying to Tennessee (so the debut could be kept a secret) and this Monday you make your debut on Raw and Tuesday on SmackDown.”

CESARO UPDATE FOLLOWING RAW
On last night’s episode of RAW, it appeared that the Swiss Superman may have been injured. The moment came during a six-man match, Cesaro took a 450 splash on his knee. Following the move, he looked like he was suffering considerable discomfort and was helped to the back.
As a way of an update, Dave Meltzer revealed that the word backstage was that he wasn’t injured. It seems as though while he may have been hurt during the match, there is no serious, lasting injury.
