AEW ANNOUNCE NEW SIGNING AND MORE

AEW has announced another new signing to their fledgling promotion. ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry was announced in the first video in ‘The Road To Double or Nothing’ series. With the surprise announcement, none seemed happier than Jungle Boy himself, Tweeting that a picture with him, the Young Bucks and Cody was the best picture he’s ever been a part of.

 

 

AEW also publicized a ticket announcement event. Planned for the 7th of February, and being held at The Talent Pool, MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas. Brandi Rhodes Tweeted that she might be bringing some of the newly signed stars from the women’s roster with her, but gave no indication as to who they may be.

 

WWE ANNOUNCE WORLDS COLLIDE DETAILS

Worlds Collide will be streaming on the 2nd of Feb on the WWE Network. The actual matches will be held across three different sessions at this weekend’s Royal Rumble Axxess in Phoenix Arizona. The 15 wrestler tournament is for a title shot on any of the three competing brands (NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live). The wrestlers include:

KUSHIDA KILLS RUMOUR

Kushida has spoken out regarding the rumor that he’s leaving NJPW because he wasn’t allowed to join Bullet Club. Speaking on the NJPW podcast Kushida said:

“I think if you start shooting down rumors then it just never stops, but allow me this one: people actually said I wanted to join Bullet Club and couldn’t and that’s why I’m leaving. This isn’t even slightly true.”

He went on to praise the company he is leaving and pour scorn on those starting the rumors.

 

ADAM COLE’S EVOLVE OPPONENT REVEALED 

WWE has revealed Adam Cole’s opponents for his appearances at Evolve 121 and 122. On February 15th, at Evolve 121, Cole will take on Shane Strickland. Strickland held the Evolve Championship for three months in 2018.the next evening, at Evolve 122, Cole will face Darby Allin. As well as competing at the event, Adam will also be available for meet and greets at both shows, as will the Street Profits who are also appearing for Evolve.

 

WWE STAR AT NXT LIVE EVENT

Appearing at the January 24th NXT House show in San Diego, Rey Mysterio came out to defend his home town and silence Kona Reeves. During the event, Kona came to the ring and started running down the crowd in classic heel fashion. Rey came out as the local hero, hitting Reeves with the 619, much to the joy of the crowd.
