TRIPLE H SPEAKS ABOUT NEW SIGNINGS

During a media call earlier this week, Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque spoke about the companies newest acquisitions. Last week is was announced that Abyss and Sonjay Dutt we’re leaving Impact! and heading for backstage roles in NXT. Triple H admitted that there wasn’t a definitive plan as to what the pair would be doing when they arrived, but that they’d be tried out in a number of positions.

“We’re always on the lookout for talented people that can contribute to the product and to the WWE as a whole. It doesn’t matter where they’re from, the quality people that are talented, that have a passion for this and want it to go to the next level and succeed, I’m always looking forward to those people. So, for me, Sonjay coming in here, Abyss coming in here in behind the scenes roles, we’re going to see where that best fit is for them.”

Triple H went on to speak about how they were both regarded in the wider industry.

”I’ve heard of them, I know of them. So many people speak highly of them and their jobs over the years, from a talent standpoint and other standpoints, so, I’m looking forward to working with them and seeing where they best fit through all of this, as we all are. Everybody here will determine where they fit, what they want to do, and how they can help contribute in the best way to the product going forward.”

Taking place at Bar Wrestling, Adam Page, Cody, Brandi, and The Young Bucks showed up and cleaned house, standing tall at the end of the evening. Cody Tweeted after the event that this might not be the last time we see AEW invade another promotion. one thing is clear, resting on their laurels isn’t something The Elite know how to do, and they never want to be far from the headlines.
