KENNY OMEGA AND YOUNG BUCKS VS. CHRIS JERICHO AND MYSTERY PARTNERS SET FOR TNT DEBUT

Earlier today AEW’s PR machine continued its match towards Friday. Friday, of course, is the day tickets go on sale for the first AEW weekly show. Today’s announcement was for another huge match, seeing Kenny Omega teaming with the Young Bucks taking on Chris Jericho and two mystery partners. This match will take place on the same card as Cody vs. Sammy Guevara.

The show will be held the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. and take place on the 2nd of October.

Chris Jericho praised the move on his Instagram account, promising to have unbelievable partners lined up for the match:

AEW SIGN MARKO STUNT

AEW has signed indie sensation Marko Stunt on his 23rd birthday. Marko revealed the news on his Twitter account earlier today. Stunt started wrestling in 2015 for ‘Wrestling In The USA’, a freelance promotion. Since then he has worked for a number of different promotions including ICW, CCW, ACTIONWrestling, and many others. Marko has already worked for AEW, appearing in Double or Nothing’s Casino Battle Royal match where he ultimately lost to Adam Page.

17TH ENTRANT TO BOLA ANNOUNCED

PWG has announced the 17th of 24 participants in the year’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced that Black Taurus will be taking part in the event. Born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexiko, Taurus made his wrestling debut in 2005 for Wrestling In Mexico but has wrestled all over since. So far in 2019, Taurus has wrestled for AAA, Impact, MLW, and GCW to name a few.

PROGRESS ANNOUNCE HUGE MATCH FOR NATURAL PROGRESSION SERIES

Earlier today Progress Wrestling announced that September 14th’s Natural Progression Series would host a huge match between LuCCKy against L.A.X with Eddie Kingston.

At Chapter 93, Chris Brookes and Jonathan Gresham were saved from a beatdown by Lucky Kid, forming the trio of LuCCKy.

SCHADENFREUDE ANNOUNCE DEBUT SHOW

 Wrestling stable Schadenfreude has announced their first self promoted event. The event, titled “Schadenfreude & Friend #1” will run on the 13th of August and be held at the Frog & Bucket, Manchester. This is the seeming replacement for IPW Tuesday Night Graps, which ran for a few years in the same venue, booked by many of Schadenfreude’s members.

#SCHADENFREUDE present their first-ever self-produced evening of professional grappling action at the Frog & Bucket in Manchester on Tuesday, 13th August!

Schadenfreude consists of Chris Brookes, Kid Lykos and the Aussie Open duo of Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher.
