MLW SIGN FORMER IMPACT AND ROH CHAMPION

MLW announced today that they have signed Austin Aries. The announcement came in the form of a vignette played during Friday’s episode of MLW Fusion. Aries has worked for almost all the major promotions, including WWE of course. Since leaving the WWE in 2017 Aires has worked for Impact Wrestling, where at one point he was calling himself ‘The Belt Collector’ (he held six titles for companies spanning three continents at one point). He has also appeared for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore, House of Glory, Australian WSW and IPW:UK to name a few.

FAISAL KURDI AND HUSSAIN ALDAGAL REPORTEDLY SIGN FOR WWE

Faisal Kurdi and Hussain Aldagal have both reportedly been sign to NXT. The reports emanate from Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens and the @Ring_Rules Twitter account.

Both Faisal and Hussain were involved in a segment of last year’s Greatest Royal Rumble, held in Saudi Arabia. The pair also took part in the 2018 tryout at the King Abdullah Sports City Sports Hall in Jeddah.

JACK SWAGGER PICKS UP SECOND WIN

At Bellator 221 last night, former WWE star Jack Swagger picked up his second win in his second ever fight. Winning in the first arm with an arm-triangle choke. With most viewing this as an easy win for Swagger, none were impressed when he left the choke on long after his opponent, T.J. Jones, tapped. Swagger played up to this in his post-fight interview, drawing on his pro-wrestling past and playing the role of a full heel.
