LARS SULLIVAN FINED FOR ONLINE COMMENTS

Following Lars Sullivan’s bigoted comments resurfaced online, WWE have decided to fine the superstar, and send him to sensitvity training.

In a statement, WWE state that;

“WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide. Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. “


DJZ REPORTS TO THE PERFORMANCE CENTER

DJZ has begun his training at the WWE’s fabled Performance Center. The report came from the WWE website. Michael ‘DJZ’ Paris announced at the end of December that his contract with Impact had expired and he was moving on.

Quoting the WWE website, the company said of Michael:

A professional grappler for nearly 15 years, Paris specializes in dynamic, top-rope offense, and has put many competitors away with moves like the 450 Splash and the 630 Splash. He has experience wrestling internationally, including in Mexico, Japan and the United Kingdom. Paris has also captured dozens of championships on his journey to WWE, such as the International Wrestling Cartel’s Super Indy Championship, a title formerly held by the likes of AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole and Corey Graves.


KILLER KROSS REPORTEDLY ASKS FOR HIS RELEASE

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Killer Kross has asked for his release from Impact Wrestling. Mike reports that although Kross was less than a year into a new multi-year deal, he was unhappy with the financial side of it. Kross has apparently tried to renegotiate a six-figure per year salary, Impact apparently countered, but the figure they suggested was well below that which was asked for. Johnson did report that the relationship between Kross and Impact was still professional.


‘HOLY GRAIL’ MATCH FINALLY AIRED

After 33 year’s, the infamous match between Bret Hart and Tom Magee was finally aired after last night’s RAW. The preceding 30-minute documentary detailed the story behind the match and why it has been so sort after. Many stars past and present appear on the documentary, including:

  • Davey Boy Smith Jr. 
  • X-Pac
  • Tyson Kidd
  • Kassius Ohno

Of course, Bret and Tom both appear to talk about the match from their own unique perspectives. 

The match itself was shown following the documentary. Magee was very green going in, and Bret carries the match well. Magee won with a roll up.

BRYCE REMSBURG SIGNS WITH AEW

Another legendary independent referee has joined the ranks of AEW. Bryce Remsburg announced on twitter today that he has signed with the promotion saying he is “Completely overwhelmed by the reaction and completely grateful for this opportunity.”
