WWE 205 Live Results – February 7th, 2020

Matty Deller runs down the results from tonight’s episode of 205 Live.

The Irish Ace makes his 205 Live debut, but can the new champion show why you shouldn’t bet against him?

Ariya Daivari & Brian Kendrick defeated Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch via Disqualification

Oney Lorcan started off hot by chopping the bejeezus out of Ariya Daivari in the corner. Burch and Lorcan were in firm control until Daivari tripped Burch up, allowing Kendrick to take control. Burch was beaten down until he could clamber away, tagging in Lorcan who ran wild. Daivari grabbed a chair only to have it dropkicked back into him by Burch. Lorcan hit him in the ribs with it to get the DQ, as Burch cheered him on.

Oney Lorcan was about to hit Daivari in the head, but Burch stopped him and told him to get the tables. This allowed Kendrick and Daivari to run away.

The Singh Brothers defeated enhancement talents via pinfall

This was a squash match. A host of double teams, followed by The Bollywood Blast for the win. I am pretty sure this is all these two do now. Remember when they were a part of the WWE Title storyline picture?

Non-Title Match: NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin defeated Lio Rush and Tony Nese via pinfall

This was a good little main event, with the same ending we get in every multi-person match. Rush dropkicked Nese to start before getting into an exchange with Devlin, only for Nese to return and hit Devlin with a host of knees, but Devlin fought back hitting an uranage on Rush onto Nese, and then a standing moonsault for a near fall.

These three run through a lot of hard-hitting, fast-paced offence leading to a frenetic crescendo. Nese hit a sunset driver for a near-fall, Rush had the Final Hour getting nothing but knees, with Nese capitalised on with a 450 splash that Devlin broke up the pinfall of, hitting the Devlin Side on Nese for the win.
