It’s been one of the biggest rumours in wrestling the last year, but now it is a reality. WWE have officially announced that they will be creating a brand in the United Kingdom.
WWE UK General Manager Johnny Saint announced at the UK Championship Tournament show in the Royal Albert Hall that ‘NXT UK’ will be launching in July this year with tapings in Cambridge on July 28th and 29th.

This will be then followed up by tapings in Birmingham, Liverpool and Plymouth across the rest of the year, and in addition NXT UK will also have a Women’s and Tag Division, with details to be announced in due course.
This comes off the back of a whole host of stars signed up for the fledgling United Kingdom division, with stars such as Zack Gibson, Flash Morgan Webster, Kenny Williams and Jinny being signed to NXT UK contracts alongside the established UK stars like Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Mark Andrews and the WWE United Kingdom Champion Peter Dunne.
