Kevin Owens beat Shane McMahon in a brutal Hell In A Cell match, thanks to an unlikely assist from Sami Zayn. He pulled KO out of the way of a plummeting McMahon looking to drop an elbow from the top of the cell. He then dragged an unconscious Owens (who had fallen from the cell before through an announce table) on top of a lifeless Shane for the three count.
In the other Hell In A Cell match, The Uso’s regained the WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship in a war with The New Day which involved kendo sticks, handcuffs and chairs, the latter of which was caused the downfall of The New Day with a double splash onto a chair on a prone Xavier Woods.
We also have a new WWE United States Champion, with Baron Corbin capturing the title in a triple threat match against now-former champion AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger, who was a late addition in the pre-show.
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal retained his belt against Shinsuke Nakamura and WWE SmackDown Live Womens Champion Natalya also kept her title, although Charlotte won via disqualification when Natalya hit Charlotte’s injured knee with a steel chair.
In non-title action, Randy Orton got the best of Rusev, Bobby Roode beat Dolph Ziggler and finally on the pre-show, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable beat The Hype Bros.
