In the wake of the #SpeakingOut movement, New Zealand Superstar and NXT UK Superstar Travis Banks has been released.
Formerly a Progress Wrestling mainstay, Travis Banks joined NXT UK on April 1st, 2017. Unlike Ligero, Banks was usually higher on the card and had chances at the NXT UK Title. He had a lengthy feud with Jordan Devlin during 2019.
The release comes in wake of the #SpeakingOut movement, of which the New Zealand native Travis among other WWE NXT UK stars had various allegations put towards their names. Banks has admitted that he allegedly began a relationship when he was a trainer at Fight Club Pro with fellow British Wrestler, Millie McKenzie. She was 17 and Banks was 30 at the time.
Banks joins El Ligero and Jack Gallagher on the released list thus far. We’ll update you on any more releases as they happen.
