SAMOA JOE RETURNS TO THE RING

Samoa Joe is set to return to the RAW ring tonight, following a concussion obtained in January.

On the last RAW in January, Samoa Joe hit an awkward Suicide Dive. Right after he landed he grabbed the back of his head. Officials quickly removed Joe from the match, and Dave Meltzer later confirmed Joe’s concussion. While the injury was confirmed there was no indication as to the severity or how long the star may take to recover. WWE, like many contact sports, has been scrambling to get in front of CTE and find the best course of action to take when treating head injuries and trauma.

Joe made his in-ring return on February 8th, at a WWE house show. The event took place in Oakland California. During the show Joe and Kevin Owens defeated AOP.

Joe is booked to take part in an eight-man match tonight, with Joe, Kevin Owens, Erik, Ivar taking on Seth Rollins, Murphy and AOP.
