All Elite Wrestling have announced that their upcoming pay-per-view Double or Nothing WILL go ahead, but not in its original plans.
In a series of tweets, AEW has said that the show will continue to air on its various pay-per-view platforms, but it will not take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Details on where it will take place have not been revealed yet, with them adding that plans ‘will be revealed in the weeks ahead with features of the event itself ultimately being determined by the latest guidance of national and global health authorities.’
People who bought tickets for the show will be offered a refund via the point of purchase or have their original ticket valid for admission to the next Double or Nothing event on May 29th, 2021.
The Dynamite show that was scheduled for the Wednesday after Double or Nothing had been cancelled a few weeks before.
This will be the second major pay-per-view to take place during the pandemic, after WrestleMania 36. IMPACT Wrestling’s Rebellion event is set to be pre-recorded, and aired over two IMPACT on AXS TV television shows.
