AEW Tag Team Title Contenders Battle Royal: The Young Bucks defeated S.C.U, Dark Order, Stronghearts, Private Party, TH2, Jungle Express, Best Friends, The Butcher and The Blade and Santana and Ortiz

The first man eliminated was Jack Evans when he dove onto a pile of guys but was thrown out. T-Hawk was then eliminated by Private Party after being caught with the Silly String. S.C.U were both thrown out after they were distracted by the spokesperson for The Dark Order. Alex Reynolds and John Silver, representing The Dark Order immediately followed them after a pair of Young Bucks superkicks. CIMA was then eliminated after a pump kick from Luchasaurus, meaning the Stronghearts duo are out. Following his elimination, CIMA was offered a mask by The Dark Order. Nick Jackson was thrown out after being elevated over by The Butcher. Private Party went for Silly String again, but Santana and Ortiz countered and eliminated them both in quick succession. Angelico was eliminated by Luchasaurus, and then thanks to Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy was gone. The entire remaining group then eliminated Luchasarurus.

The Best Friends went for their hug, but The Butcher and The Blade intercepted and threw out Chuck Taylor. Trent then survived thanks to Orange Cassidy, and The Blade was dropkicked out. The Butcher was dragged to the apron by Trent and following a low blow to Orange Cassidy by The Bunny, Butcher dropped Trent. Matt Jackson then speared The Butcher, who had already been put over the top rope. This left Matt Jackson against both Santana and Ortiz. Sammy Guevara tripped Matt, leading to a streetsweeper. However, their celebration was premature as he stayed on the apron. Matt then superkicked Ortiz out, and clotheslined Santana to send his team to Revolution.

Order Of Team Elimination:

  1. S.C.U
  2. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver)
  3. #Stronghearts (CIMA & T-Hawk)
  4. Private Party
  5. TH2
  6. Jurassic Express
  7. Best Friends
  8. The Butcher and The Blade
  9. Santana and Ortiz

Britt Baker joins commentary for the following match-up

Kris Statlander defeated Shanna via pinfall

Kris Statlander opens the match with her customary boop, but we then get to wrestling and two pair exchange holds and escapes, neither woman getting the advantage. Statlander cartwheels into a headscissors and successfully boops Shanna. The two exchange boops (what did I just type) until strikes are throne, in which Statlander takes control. Shanna fights back, hitting a knee to the gut and taking control. Statlander countered with a big powerbomb, but Shanna stopped a moonsault but kicking Statlander’s leg, hitting a tree of woe double stomp for a near fall.

Shanna followed up with a big DDT and a brutal low dropkick, both for near falls. Statlander managed to fight back in a big way, hitting with a short stunner, following up with the Big Bang Theory for the win.

We then see a recap of Nyla Rose’s AEW Women’s Title victory from last week.

Tony Schiavone then introduces the new AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose. Nyla Rosa is not impressed with the reaction she is getting from the crowd, and says she should have been the first champion and the face of the promotion. She says it made her hungry, and when shes hungry – she breaks bitches. She says she represents the power and no matter what anyone says, she is the queen bee in this hive. She says she is never losing the belt because no one is a beast like her.

Kris Statlander interrupts, and she boops Rose’s title. Big Swole then interjects and makes her feelings known. All three women are held back by security.

We then see a recap of the debut of Jeff Cobb last week, as Chris Jericho’s hired assassin.

Jox Moxley defeated jeff Cobb via pinfall

Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager sat at ringside for this match-up. Moxley tried to charge at Jeff Cobb, and was immediately suplexed for his troubles. Cobb beat Moxley down early on, but he was able to battle back with a plancha and a few strikes but Cobb overpowered him once again and maintained control. Moxley got some strikes in on the outside, but Cobb threw him over the guardrail to allow Jericho to whip him with his title belt.

Cobb removed the protective tape from the mid-section of Moxley and continued to beat him down. Moxley then fought his way out of a bearhug and started to work the knee of Cobb. However, no matter what Moxley does Cobb continued to overpower him, hitting a swinging side suplex and picking Moxley up before the count of three. Cobb continues to throw Moxley around, until a host of knee rocked Cobb and then a big lariat from Moxley floored him.

Moxley and Cobb exchange blows centre of the ring, but Cobb again gets the better of Mox at every turn. Cobb hit a huge deadlift superplex but Moxley hooked his legs to get the win from out of nowhere.

The Inner Circle then beat down Jon Moxley until Dustin Rhodes made the save. The numbers game then overwhelmed Rhodes until the lights went out and Darby Allin returned to a huge ovation. He laid everyone out with skateboard, and Moxley then dropped Cobb with the Paradigm Shift. We then see Jericho and Moxley are alone in the ring, and they brawl for a bit until Jericho decides to exit.

We also see Darby Allin declare via cue-cards that The Inner Circle is finished at AEW Revolution.

AEW Tag Team Titles: Champions Hangman Page & Kenny Omega defeated The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr & Rey Fenix) via pinfall to retain the titles

Hangman Page and Rey Fenix exchange some words to open before they go toe-to-toe, Hangman taking control with a big boot. Page and Omega work over Rey Fenix using quick tags and double team offence. Fenix then threw some strikes to Page, allowing him to tag Pentagon Jr, meaning the Lucha Bros could take control of the match. Pentagon Jr proceeds to wear Kenny Omega out with stiff kicks to the face, as the Lucha Brothers isolate him away from his partner or in some cases, knocking Page off the apron.

Omega managed to fight out, leaping into a big DDT which allowed him to get the hot tag to Hangman Page, who ran wild on both men. The match breaks down after Fenix countered a push german suplex into a cutter, and Pentagon hit a beautiful diving Canadian destroyer onto Omega, off of the back of Hangman. Fenix jumped from the middle rope to the outside to hurricanrana Kenny Omega to the outside in an unreal spot, followed up by Page hitting a big moonsault onto Pentagon Jr. All four men exchange brutal strikes, but Hangman accidentally hit the Buckshot onto Kenny Omega, but he was able to get a shoulder up on the Pentagon Driver.

Fenix was caught with a V-Trigger in mid-air, and suffered a Praying Mantis Bomb for a near fall. A blind tag by Page then led to Fenix suffering the V-Trigger/Buckshot lariat combination for the win in an excellent match.

Post-match, The Young Bucks came to the ring to celebrate with Omega and Page but Hangman bailed for a few beers.

We get to see the new set of AEW figures, made by Wicked Cool Toys. They look pretty good.

We see a hype package for the steel cage match main event between Cody and Wardlow.

Steel Cage Match: Cody defeated Wardlow via pinfall

Cody threw a big kick to open, but it barely bothered Wardlow. He then tried to outwrestle him but he was overpowered. Cody began to stick and move, even hitting a Disaster Kick but it only took one clothesline to put Cody down. Wardlow then proceeded to launch Cody into the steel cage, which busted him wide open. Wardlow powerbombed Cody into the cage, and the Wardlow drove the cage into the face of Cody some more. Wardlow threw Cody around with a pair of release suplexs, but a third was countered into a front suplex, followed up by the Cody Cutter. Cody’s momentum was stopped by a low blow, and Wardlow then hits the F-10 (a spinning variant of the F-5) and proceeds to grate Cody’s face into the steel.

Cody falls through the door and MJF screams at Cody to hit him with it like he did his daddy, with Arn responds by knocking MJF out cold with the door itself. Cody starts to run wild, with big clotheslines and a powerslam for a near fall. Cody’s run doesn’t last long, as Wardlow gorilla presses Cody into the cage, and hits an insane swanton bomb for a near fall. MJF hands Wardlow the diamond ring, but Cody drops him with a low blow. An incensed MJF tries to climb the cage but Brandi hits him with a steel chair, and Arn throws MJF into the crowd.

Cody tries for CrossRhodes, but only gets two. However, Cody looks to the skies and climbs to the top of the cage to hit a moonsault onto Wardlow and pick up the win.

Cody stands on top of the cage, yelling at MJF below him and the show goes off the air.
