AEW Pay-Per-View Carrier ITV Box Office Ceases Operations

AEW’s UK pay-per-view carrier ITV Box Office ceases operation.

AEW is without a UK PPV home a month away from Revolution

All Elite Wrestling’s UK home for their pay-per-view events ITV Box Office have announced they have ceased operations.

In a statement on their website, it simply reads;

The ITV Box Office service has ceased as of 24th January 2020. There are no further plans to show any future events on this channel.

This means British fans have only FITE TV as their option to watch any future pay-per-view events at the current time.

The deal between AEW and ITV was inked on May 8th of last year, but there has been a raft of issues since it’s inception. There was uproar when it was announced the UK audience would get the show on a delay. It was then announced the show would go up earlier via ITV Hub, but this was still plagued with problems.

Now with WWE moving to BT Sport and showing highlight shows on Channel 5, this leaves All Elite Wrestling in a troubling position in the United Kingdom market.
