AEW: Revolution Results | March 7th 2021 | Barbed Wire Love

Live from Jacksonville, Florida AEW brings us Revolution. Who is Paul Wight bringing into the company? And how will the Barbed Wire Deathmatch go?

Preshow (Buy In)

Britt Baker made her entrance and informed us that Reba (Rebel) won’t be able to compete tonight. Her tag team partner instead will be… MAKI ITOH!

Britt Baker and Maki Itoh defeated Rhio and Thunder Rose via Pinfall

The main show began with a tribute graphic in memory of Jim Crockett Jr.

The Young Bucks defeated Chris Jericho and MJF (The Inner Circle) via Pinfall (Meltzer Driver)

The Bucks found their way in control of the match at the beginning. Unfortunately they could not stay in control the whole time, Wardlow became a factor on the outside for the Inner Circle. The match featured a lot of action and in the end The Young Bucks were able to retain their tag team titles.

Casino Battle Royal: PAC and Ray Fenix were the winners

This battle royal seemed to feature the end of Natural Nightmares. QT Marshall eliminated the Gunn Club, which Dustin Rhodes yelled at him for. QT didn’t appreciate that fact and eliminated himself while spitting at Dustin. The Dark Order had three teams in the match and unfortunately couldn’t find victory. The match came down to Jungle Boy, John Silver, and Death Triangle. Although it looked like Jungle Boy had a chance to win for his team, Fenix was able to eliminate him.

Backstage Paul Wight was interviewed in an attempt to get more information on the new signing. Wight said that the current AEW locker room could not outwork the new signing.

Hikaru Shida defeated Roy Mizunami via Pinfall

Shida was able to retain her AEW Women’s Championship in a hell of a match. The two women went at it with hard strikes in attempts to finish the match quickly. They really tried to destroy each other.

After the match, Nyla Rose and Vicki Guerrero came out. Rose attacked Shida and then went after Mizunami! Shida tried to make the save, but Britt Baker and Maki Itoh came out!

Thunder Rosa came out to try and help. Her appearance actually sent Baker and Rose out of the ring.

Then we saw Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy being interviewed…or an attempt at an interview. Miro and Kip Sabin attacked them!

Miro and Kip Sabin defeated Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy via Submission (Game Over)

Backstage Chris Jericho was not thrilled that people thought the Inner Circle failed tonight. Jericho said they would have a war council this week on AEW Dynamite.

Adam ‘Hangman’ Page defeated Matt Hardy via Pinfall (Buckshot)
Scorpio Sky defeated Cody Rhodes, Lance Archer, Penta el Zero M, Ethan Page, and Max Caster

New Signing time! CHRISTIAN CAGE!!!! ITS CHRISTIAN! He grabbed the contract, signed it and left it in the ring. Christian said nothing. It was a rather simple, but a poignant moment.

Sting and Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Brian Cage via Pinfall (Scorpion Death Drop)

A cinematic match! In a venue similar to where Allin and Sting broke windows a few weeks ago, the teams faced off. The match almost began in a lumberjack match because there were people who joined Sting and Allin on their way to the venue. Eventually, Will Hobbs and Hook joined in the chaos. The entirety of Team Taz changed the entire match, it became four on two! In the end, Sting and Allin found a way to win!

AEW World Championship Match: Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch
Kenny Omega (C) Vs. Jon Moxley

A wild, wild time as you would have expected. Mox took a lot of the destruction. Lots of barbed wire and chaos, blood and explosions. After Omega won the match we were informed that the ring was still going to explode! With the help of Gallows and Anderson, Omega was able to handcuff Moxley! With a minute on the countdown, Eddie Kingston came out!

Kingston tried to help Moxley, but because of exhaustion, he couldn’t get Moxley out of the ring! The ring exploded as Kingston covered Moxley!

Kenny Omega defeated John Moxley via Pinfall (One Winged Angel)

The PPV ended as referees and agents checked on Kingston and Moxley.
