IMPACT Wrestling presented its flagship pay-per-view extravaganza, Bound For Glory, on Friday night in Albany, New York as Masha Slamovich looked to crown a career-year against Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace, while Eddie Edwards set out to prove that the IMPACT World Championship has ‘honor no more.’ Mickie James career once again was put up for grabs, new champions were crowned and IMPACT saw the return of a former top star. Bound For Glory delivered on its expectations.
In a night with a lot of high-stakes, a returning Bully Ray and AEW’s Frankie Kazarian stole headlines exiting the event. The former won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, lastly eliminating Steve Maclin, to earn a championship opportunity in the near-future. Meanwhile, Kazarian won the X-Division Championship from Mike Bailey, marking his sixth time with the elusive championship. The full results from the event are as followed:
- Brian Myers (c) defeated Dirty Dango to retain the IMPACT Digital Media Championship.
- Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Bailey (c) to become the NEW X-Division Champion.
- Death Dollz defeated VXT (c) to become the NEW Knockout’s Tag Team Champions.
- The Kingdom (c) defeated The Motor City Machine Guns to retain the IMPACT Tag Team Championships.
- Bully Ray won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal.
- Jordynne Grace (c) defeated Masha Slamovich to retain the Knockout’s World Championship.
- Josh Alexander (c) defeated Eddie Edwards to retain the IMPACT World Championship.
