Pro Championship Wrestling, formerly known as Preston City Wrestling, has released a statement on their Facebook page re; the long-awaited Kris Travis – Ultimate Collection 2 Disk DVD.
PCW faced outrage yesterday in response to our story relating to numerous talents pulling out of their “Social Distraction” show, as well as the local councils confirming the shows had not been given permission to run, with many fans complaining that a Kris Travis highlights DVD was paid for, but never received. This led to numerous allegations being thrown towards PCW and their owner Steven Fludder.
Despite ignoring numerous requests for a comment, PCW management have posted the following on their page;
As we said on our initial return post we look to resolve a few things that have been outstanding for a while and get PCW back on a clean slate to press on in 2021 when things get back to as close to normal as possible. As per our plan which was first mentioned some of our team months ago while we was in lock down. This was high up our list and one our first things to complete on our return is we have now fully edited and produced the Kris Travis – Ultimate Collection 2 Disk DVD set. If you have interest in ordering, leave your details with [email protected] and we can forward on to the retailer for the DVDs.Regarding the PCW shows on October 23rd and 24th. We are hosting these shows inline with the confirmation given from the office of the Secretary Of State that wrestling events can happen right now. Wrestling shows are not classed as sporting events and are very much permitted to happen. We have spoken to local councils in detail about our events and they are fully aware of them being planned and we are doing all we can to make them as Covid safe as possible for talent, staff and fans. We are fully aware of current restrictions and are looking forward to putting on some entertainment in a time when little else is happening. We are not yet fully active and until we get up to speed so again our social media use is limited so please contact us on [email protected] with any questions.
