Brock Lesnar Confirmed For Next Week’s Raw | Wrestling News Update, February 19th 2020

BROCK LESNAR CONFIRMED FOR NEXT TWO RAW EPISODES

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have been confirmed for the next two episodes of RAW.

Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada have confirmed that they the two will be appearing on that show, which is the final RAW before Super Showdown. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City also announced today that Lesnar and Heyman will be appearing on the March 2nd RAW episode.

FCW DOCUMENTARY TO AIR ON WWE NETWORK

As announced on today’s episode of ‘The Bump’, a documentary on WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling developmental brand is set to premiere next month.

“A Future WWE: The FCW Story” will debut on the WWE Network on Sunday, March 8th. It will be made available on-demand at 10AM ET/3PM GMT that day.

The documentary, which was first revealed during The Celtic Warrior’s appearance on today’s edition of WWE’s The Bump, will feature new interviews with the Superstars and coaches who built FCW

Sky Germany have announced that WWE pay-per-view events and television shows will no longer be offered on Sky Deutschland after March. However, wrestling fans will not be without action for long, as they will be broadcast the pay-per-view events of All Elite Wrestling.

According to Sky, WWE decided not to include the broadcasting rights for pay-per-view events in the German market.

For months there have been speculation and rumors about the future of WWE at Sky Deutschland. Here’s our official statement on the topic:

“The transfer rights to WWE pay-per-view events were no longer part of the tender and therefore no longer available for Sky Deutschland. As a result, the WWE will no longer be part of Sky Deutschland’s program offer from the end of March..

Sky customers can still look forward to the best wrestling entertainment. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) pay-per view events will be available shortly on Sky Select.

The weekly flagship show ‘AEW Dynamite’ of the series, founded in 2019 has been broadcasting Sky Partner Network TNT series since October (Fridays, 21.50 pm). The station can be found linear and via Sky Go as part of the Sky Entertainment package. Also, it is included in the entertainment ticket of the monthly cancellable streaming service Sky ticket.”

CHRIS BEY SIGNS WITH IMPACT WRESTLING

Late last night, Impact Wrestling announced that Chris Bey is the newest addition to their roster.

They made an official announcement on their Twitter account. A hype video for Bey also aired on tonight’s episode of Impact, saying that Bey is coming to Impact soon.

Bey was in action at the promotion’s television tapings in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Chris Bey was indeed on AEW’s radar, as said by Cody in a recent media call.

ADAM BROOKS SET TO MAKE ROH DEBUT

Ring of Honor has announced when Adam Brookes will make his debut with the company.

ROH announced today that Brooks will face fellow and ROH signee Slex at their 18th Anniversary pay-per-view. Brookes’ signing was officially confirmed earlier this month, but has appeared for ROH before at a 2018 UK show.

The event is taking place at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, March 13th.

HAVANA PITBULLS VS BANDIDO/FLAMITA MADE FOR PAST VS PRESENT

Ring of Honor announced today that The Havana Pitbulls (Rocky Romero & Ricky Reyes) vs. Bandido & Flamita is set for ROH Past vs. Present. Flamita suffered a torn meniscus at Free Enterprise, but ROH wrote that he’s expected to be cleared to return in time for Past vs. Present.

Romero and Reyes were former ROH Tag Team Champions, and this would be the first time they’ll be teaming up in 13 years.

Past vs. Present is being held at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas as part of ROH’s 18th Anniversary weekend on Saturday, March 14th.

WALTER TO TEAM WITH ANTI-FUN POLICE AT CHAPTER 103

Former PROGRESS Unified World Champion WALTER has been announced as Travis Banks’ replacement for PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 103.

WALTER will be teaming with the Anti-Fun Police (Chief Deputy Dunne & Los Federales Santos Jr) to go up against More Than Hype (LJ Cleary, Darren Kearney & Nathan Martin). Banks was meant to team with his former Anti-Fun Police partners but has to pull out via injury.

Chapter 103: Beer Snake City will take place this Sunday at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London.
