CM PUNK LINKED TO WWE TALKSHOW

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer claimes that CM Punk’s agent has reached out to FOX regarding hosting an upcoming WWE focused talk show.

“What we do know that is interesting is that CAA, which represents Punk and also represents WWE, has had an agent reach out to FOX head honchos about Punk as a co-host of the upcoming new FS 1 talk show.”

In the deal, Punk would be working for FOX, not WWE, it was noted that this would be something that WWE would not be happy with, putting it mildly.

The WON made it clear that this was something brought up by Punk’s agent, and not something Punk was clearly aware of or behind. While there were apparently no negotiations, it seems that Renee Young will be the main host of the show, as was reported when the show was announced.
