COLT CABANA SIGNS WITH AEW

Following his shock appearance at The Buy-In for AEW Revolution, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Colt Cabana had signed with the company. 

Khan announced this during the post-Revolution media scrum. Khan also said Cabana will be able to work for other promotions with Khan’s approval. He appeared during the Buy-In pre-show, coming to the aid of SCU following their loss to the Dark Order.

Cabana previously appeared on AEW Dark back in December to do commentary after his contract with Ring of Honor expired earlier in the month.

He’s been appearing with the NWA and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

AEW ANNOUNCES ‘BLOOD AND GUTS’ DYNAMITE SPECIAL

During last nights Revolution, All Elite Wrestling announced that the March 25th episode from Newark, New Jersey will be titled ‘Blood and Guts’.

The highlight of the program will be a closed cage match comprising of two rings, similar to the now WWE-trademarked ‘War Games’.

CHRIS JERICHO TO TOUR WITH FOZZY SOON

After losing the AEW Title to Jon Moxley at Revolution, it appears that the former ‘Le Champion’ will have a secondary focus in the coming months.

Jericho’s band Fozzy have have a U.S tour starting up in April. The dates beginning on April 16th, running through the early part of May.

It does not interfere with his AEW schedule, however, as none of his tour dates fall on a Wednesday. So, it’ll probably be the case that Jericho will be performing double duty.

EFFY AND MANCE WARNER REPORTEDLY BACKSTAGE AT AEW REVOLUTION

According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, both Mance Warner and Effy were backstage at last night’s AEW Revolution.

This wasn’t the first time that Mance Warner was reportedly backstage, as he was apparently backstage at a recent Dynamite taping.

Effy had worked earlier in the day for Black Label Pro’s event just outside of Chicago in Indiana.

THREE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR RAW

Three matches have been made for tomorrow’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

One-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka will face off with Shayna Baszler, ahead of the two being apart of next Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match.

There is also a Super Showdown rematch, as The Street Profits gets another crack at the RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Murphy in a ‘Now or Never’ contest.

According to WWE.com, this will be their final shot at the belts.

Finally, WWE 24/7 Champion Riddick Moss will defend the title on RAW.

NEW ROH CHAMPION CROWNED AT GATEWAY TO HONOR

In the main event of Gateway to Honor on Saturday night, Rush became a two-time ROH World champion by defeating PCO and Mark Haskins in a triple threat match.

This was thanks to NWA Champion Nick Aldis, who hit PCO with the title belt. These two are set to face off at Supercard of Honor XIV over WrestleMania weekend.

PCO held the title for 78 days, defeating Rush back at Final Battle on December 13th.

This now makes the main event of ROH 18th Anniversary, with Rush defending his ROH Title against Mark Haskins, as due to a stipulation in the match the person who was not involved in the fall will challenge for the belt.

ZACK SABRE JR VS LOW-KI ANNOUNCED FOR WRESTLECON

A strong-style dream match has been made for the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show.

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Zack Sabre Jr will face MLW star and Ring of Honor legend Low-Ki on April 2nd at the Ritz in Ybor City.
