GRAVES OFFERS APOLOGY FOLLOWING RANALLO COMMENTS

Corey Graves made a formal apology for comments posted on Twitter.

The Apology came at the start of WWE’s ‘After the Bell’ podcast. Corey opened the show in the normal way before breaking away to deal with the personal matter:

A ton to get to this week as we do every week but before we go any further, on a personal note, I needed to address something. This past Saturday, during the ‘Takeover: WarGames’ event, I sent out a tweet. It was an unpopular opinion, as I often do with the intention of just stirring up a little controversy, maybe have something fun to talk about on TV or here on the show. It was maybe not the most professional way to go about things, and it was never meant to offend or disrespect or disparage anybody. That was never my intention. If it was taken as such, I apologize deeply. That was not my intention. I would never intentionally cause anybody undue stress, especially a co-worker. So, I apologize.

JOEY JANELA REMOVES CONTRAVERTIAL TWEET

Late last night, Joey Janela posted a message seemingly critisising his recent booking and push. The message was deleted shortly after, but does reveal why he won’t feature on AEW Dynamite tonight.

Janela claimes that he perpously missed his flight, adding simply that he wasn’t going. Joey claims that with his current push, he is losing his momentum. Specifically he bemoaned the manner in which he was eliminated from the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale, namely, being eliminated by Shawn Spears during a commercial break.

See below for the deleted message:

Didn’t get on my flight for @AEWrestling Dynamite tonight, I’m not going…. Nothing was addressed about the way I was eliminated from the match last week, I’m losing all the steam I created on my own through 14 years of hard work, right these wrongs and answer the phone…

Janela went on encourage AEW management to call him and address the issues as he sees them.

It is possible that this is all part of an angle of course, Janela has very little content on his social media negatively representing AEW.
