BULLY RAY REPORTEDLY NO LONGER ROH MANAGEMENT

Squared Circle Sirens is reporting that Bully Ray is no longer in charge of the Women Of Honor division of ROH. He has been replaced by Jonathan Gresham.

It is reported that Jonathan Gresham took the position in early January, and will give it a big face-lift going forward.

STEVE GILLESPIE PASSES AWAY AT 56

In sad news it was reported today that veteran Canadian Wrestler, Steve Gillespie has passed away at 56.

Steve was active at the very end of the 80’s and through the 90’s. He wrestled predominantly in Canada, and in 1997 he switched to the role of promoter. Gillespie wrestlered for a number of promotions during his run. Starting with Stu Harts Stampede Wrestling, Steve went on to work for the Canadian National Wrestling Alliance and Can-Am Wrestling Federation. Steve also worked for the WWF during ’92 and then again in ’97.

Gillespie found greatest success while working for Canadian Rocky Mountain Wrestling, holding their Mid-Heavyweight Championship twice, and their tag team belts on three different occations.

While no details have been released surrounding his death, a number of wrestlers have posted tributed to the late star.

BRANDI RHODES NOT ON JERICHO’S CRUISE

Brandi Rhodes has announced that she won’t be taking part in Chris Jericho’s cruise. The reason given for her not attendance was the theft of her passport.

While Brandi was planning to leave the cruise early any way, she is booked to deliver the keynote speech at the NATPE Miami Marketplace & Conference next week, she will be missed from the cruise. Brandi tweeted the announcement, posting:

I hope this doesn’t disappoint anyone, as I was having to leave early to deliver the keynote at NATPE next week (which I am insanely excited for!) but I will not be on the cruise at all this year. My passport was stolen this evening and I cannot attend. Be safe and have fun.

She went on, replying to some fans who were asking if there was anyway she’d be able to make it:

ROH CHAMPION, PCO, ANNOUNCED FOR SUPERCARD OF HONOR

Earlier today, ROH announced that their World Champion, PCO would be appearing at Supercard of Honor XIV in early April.

PCO joins a growing list of stars announced for the event. ROH recently announced that Jay White, KENTA, El Phantasmo, and Taiji Ishimori from the BUllet Cub would all be attending. Alongside the stars from the BC, Will Ospreay, Jay Lethal, Dragon Lee, Slex, Marty Scurll, and RUSH have also been announced.

The show is being held at the RP Finding Center in Lakeland Florida.

JAZZY GABERT APPEARS TO LEAVE NXT UK

EDDIE DENNIS VACTES PROGRESS UNIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP

Progress Wrestling announced today that Eddie Dennis has vacted his Progress Unified Championship.

The announcement comes after Dennis picked up an injury during the week. Apparently he suffered a sepatated shoulder while losing to Trent Seven at the NXT UK tapings in York.

Trent originally won the belt in September of last year, defeating Walter and David Starr in the three way match at Progress Chapter 95.
