THE ROCK ANNOUNCES WRESTLING RETIREMENT

HUGE LUCHA NAME REPORTEDLY HEADING TO THE PERFORMANCE CENTER

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has named El Hijo del Fantasma as WWE’s latest addition. The WON reports the Cuerno will start there as part of the September class.

WWE has tried to sign Fantasma before, most notably during the Cruiserweight Classic, but unfortunately Lucha Underground and AAA refused the request.

He primarily wrestled for IWRG, CMLL and Lucha Libre AAA. While the Mexican native has worked mostly in his homeland, he has performed for other promotions internationally including Impact, Wrestling In Japan, WrestleCircus, and Wrestling In Europa. He is also known by the ring names ‘King Cuerno’, and ‘Top Secret’.

BRET HART WILL BE AT SUMMERSLAM

WWE has advertised that Bret Hart will be taking part in the meet and greet at this year’s SummerSlam.

The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t been seen since unveiling the AEW Championship belt. He notoriously refused to attend last month RAW reunion show as well. The news came from the official SummerSlam Twitter feed, with the Hitman retweeting the post and adding “See you soon Toronto!”.

NXT STARS LORCAN AND BURCH ANNOUNCED FOR WXW

Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan have been announced for the upcoming wXw World Tag Team Festival. The event, described as the biggest wrestling festival in the autumn, will be held in Oberhausen, Germany, over three nights. Reacting to the news, Danny Burch simply tweeted “United we stand, Always ready to fight!!!”

PWG ANNOUNCE NEXT BOLA ENTRANT

PWG has announced that Laredo Kid is the twentieth competitor in this year’s Battle of Los Angeles.

While he made his in-ring debut for the company earlier this year, this will be Laredo Kid’s first BOLA tournament.

Making his debut in 2005, Laredo Kid has appeared for multiple companies. Already in 2019 he has performed for 22 different promotions. He primarily wrestles for AAA.
