ESL and FACEIT merge to create the world’s leading competitive gaming platform

On January 24, 2022, ESL Gaming announced they will be merging with FACEIT.

ESL and FACEIT have both been central to the unbelievable development of esports and serious gaming with more than thirty years joined in the business. Together, they will frame another main contribution in the quickly developing yet divided esports scene at a crucial time in the advancement of the business. Interestingly, gamers, distributers, and accomplices will have a predictable excursion that could take them from relaxed rivalries to field occasions on one stage.

The arrangement will consist of ESL’s goal in building, broadcasting, and commercializing premium esports biological systems, including field and celebration occasions, with FACEIT’s capacities in growing top-tier devices for competitive gaming.

Our merger with FACEIT, along with the backing of SGG, will give us more know-how, capabilities, and resources than ever before to deliver on this vision. For gamers, publishers, and partners, this is a hugely exciting proposition, to be able to take everyone on the journey from your first step into competition to playing on the biggest esports stages globally.”-ESL CEO Craig Levine

By uniting these complementary capabilities, and with the backing of SGG, we are taking a long-term approach to develop a more robust platform to better support the future of the whole competitive gaming ecosystem and generate more value for all its stakeholders in a sustainable way.”-FACEIT CEO Niccolo Maisto
