Well there’s your first mistake, trying to impress the @WWE universe. And even though you don’t really deserve another shot with me, I’ll allow it. Just not for my championship. https://t.co/EgXyiNiMJO

EDGE SEEMS TO COMMENT ON RETURN RUMOURS
Still not and still not. Period.
— Adam (Edge) Copeland (@EdgeRatedR) December 20, 2019
In a simple message, Edge seems to have responded to rumours that he would be returning to in-ring action. The message simply reads “Still not and still not. Period.”. While there is no reason to make any assumptions about what he is refering to, the vaugeness, linked the the spike in rumours surrounding his possible return at the rumble, would suggest some link.
Edge retired on April 11, 2011, citing cervical spinal stenosis as the cause. The retirement forced Edge to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Edge has been in action since, spearing Elias at this year’s SummerSlam. This was the first in ring action Edge had engauged in since 2011.

WWE TO MAKE SUBSTANTIAL OFFER TO KILLER KROSS
WWE’s interest level is significantly high in signing Killer Kross. Source said he should get a similar offer to that of which was extended to Hangman Page last year. No telling if Kross will sign, but WWE is definitely pursuing him, harder than they normally pursue other FAs.
— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) December 20, 2019
Twitter account @WrestleVotes has posted that WWE are set to make a significant offer to former Impact star Killer Kross.
WrestleVote suggests that the offer could be inline with that extended to Adam Page last year, Adam ended up at AEW of course.
At the time of Page’s signing to AEW much was made of his rejection of the WWE. While no real details ever leaked out regarding the offer, in an interview with Brian Campbell in mid May, Page made a few comments about the negotiation. Firstly he made the point that dealing with the WWE was a very pleasant experience, everyone had been very polite during the ultimetly unsuccessful process. Secondly, WWE had offered him alot of money, saying:
At some point, when people start throwing money at you, at some point, they are just numbers. And at some point you realize that you will be all right.
Page rejected the offer ultimetly due to a lack of creative control, regarding it, Adam said:
Knowing that I can be fulfilled creatively and can have a big place at the table and knowing that I can contribute to bettering wrestling, furthering wrestling and creating another option with all the friends I met along the way in wrestling, that was ultimately the biggest thing I can get out of all of this. It was more rewarding than anything else could have been.
FLAIR SPEAKS ABOUT CURRENT TRADEMARK BATTLE WITH WWE
Ric Flair and WWE are current locked in somewhat or a legal battle over the use of a number of phrases both sides atest to having control over. One of the more hotly contested phrases is ‘TheMan’, which Becky Lynch has been using for a while now. In an interview with WrestlingInc, Flair spoke about the litigation and the importance of trademarking names and gimmicks.
Everyone has become aware in the last couple of years of how important it is to trademark and own your own name. They prepare themselves for the future because as we all know it can last two years, 10 months or in my case 47 years. The key is to be able to walk away at the end of it and if you’ve been successful then have some control of your name through trademarks.
Speaking about his specific trademark issues, Flair said he was pleased with the progress that was being made:
“I’m happy with the progress. I don’t wanna get credit for starting this but I notice a bunch of people are doing it now,” Flair said, speaking of other wrestlers applying for their own trademarks. “I want people to know this before they start spending money – I spent 40 years building that brand. So much of it was when brand development wasn’t part of the demographic to be successful in wrestling.”
REPORTS THAT THE REVIVAL ARE SET FOR A COMEDY ANGLE

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it suggests that Dash Wilder’s trip during his entrance last week was staged, and the first step in the team’s redesign.
