Hiromu Takahashi Returns at NJPW Power Struggle

Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi returns from his broken neck at NJPW Power Struggle.

Takahashi to face Will Ospreay on January 4th at WrestleKingdom night one

In one of the most highly-anticipated returns of the year, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi reappeared today.

He returned to face off with IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, following his victory over BUSHI. Ospreay cut a promo asking who would challenge him next. After no one responded, he started to leave when a video started to play that was similarto the time bomb vignettes that aired prior to Hiromu Takahashi’s re-debut post excursion. The bomb had a timer was set for January 4th.

Hiromu Takahashi’s cat dolls Daryl and Naoru then appeared on the video screen and lit a bomb that started a timer for ten seconds. After a countdown ended, Takahashi emerged to face off with the champion.

Takahashi has been out of action for 484 days (16 months) following breaking his neck taking a dragon driver from Dragon Lee at the G1 Special in San Francisco on July 7th, 2018.
