The fallout of Against All Odds begins with Gina Miller attempting to get a word with Scott D’Amore on the controversy of the Impact World Title match. Moose rushes into D’Amore’s office and demands a rematch for the title at Slamiversary. D’Amore tells him that he does not have time because someone from Anthem will be here to address the controversy from this past Saturday.
TJP w. Fallah Bah vs. Black Taurus w/ Crazy Steve
What looks like a clash of styles Black Taurus matches the speed with TJP. But something TJP cannot match is Tarus’s power which where he has the advantage. But the veteran TJP beats Taurus with the Mamba Splash. Immediately Moose attacks the victorious Moose and calls out Scott D’Amore, and threatens to high jak the show until he gets another title shot. Out of nowhere, Chris Sabin dropkicks Moose out of the ring and challenges him in a fight.
Backstage: Rohit Raju is complaining about the announcement of the Ultimate X match at Slammivsary to Ace Austin. Austin attempts to ally with the Raju, so they have the advantage on the Ultimate X match. Raju shakes Austin’s hand, and it looks like they’re forming a temporary alliance.
Backstage: Gia Miller attempts to get a word with the returning Chris Sabin. Sabin says that the “Wrestling Gods” sent him down to kick his ass. He challenges Moose to a match at Slammivesary.
Madman Fulton w/ Ace Austin vs. Josh Alexander
Another is a clash of styles, but many might forget that Madman Fulton is a former collegiate wrestler and head to head with a technical wrestler like Josh Alexader. Fulton is manhandling the champion as Ace Austin watches by with a smile. Alexander attempts to hit double under hook piledriver throughout the match, but Madman is too big for him. But finally, he secures the move and gets the win. Ace Austin comes at attacks the champion, but Petey Williams comes in for the save. Then out comes Rohit Raju to attack Williams, and Trey Miguel saves him. The returning Shera comes out to clear house and poses with Austin Fulton and Raju to send messages for Ultimate X.
Winner: Josh Alexander
Backstage: Deonna Purrazzo is disappointed with Kimber Lee and Susan’s failed attempt at winning the Knockouts Tag Team championship. Purrazzo is over them and now wants nothing to do with them. Susan hilariously calls her a typical degenerate millennial.
Backstage: Gia Miller speaks to W. Morriessy off of his win from Impact World Champion Rich Swann. He lists all these friendships happening around Impact, and those friendships end up in betrayal. The only person he can trust is himself.
Steve Maclin vs. Jason Page
Steve Maclin slowly decimates Jason Page taking him out with a huge lariat and a series of the elbow. With a reverse, DDT picks up the win and makes quick work of Page. Maclin presented as a serious threat in his Impact debut.
Winner: Steve Maclin
Backstage: Rachael Ellering attempts to calm Jordyn Grace with how their matches have been going as of late. Grace furiously explains that everyone thinks the only reason they were champions was because of Ellering and storms off.
Backstage: Gia Miller wants to get a word from Don Callis on the controversy from the Against All Odds main event. He says that he and Scott D’Amore are siblings when it comes to running this company. He thinks D’Amore puts his feelings in front of the business, and Callis has been heavy when it comes to the significant decision of firing Sami Callihan. He also thinks the Anthem representative is going to thank him for the decision he made.
Tenille Dashwood w/ Kaleb with a K vs. Rachael Ellering
Mostly comedic character, but Tenille Dashwood can get serious in the ring for being a majority when it comes to ring work. Rachael Ellering puts on some excellent technical skills trying to wear out her opponent. A lot of back and forth action could have gone either way, But one thing that could counter any wrestling moves is the interference of Kaleb with a K. With his help Dashwood picks up a win with a crucifix pinfall.
Winner: Tenille Dashwood
Backstage: TJP and Fallah Bah are knocking on Scott D’Amore’s office but interrupted by The Decay. Fallah Bah challenges Crazy Steve to a match next week to make it a clean sweep in their little feud.
Backstage: Fire N’ Flava is running around asking random people backstage who is the saddest Knockouts Tag Team of all time. Rosemary and Havok interrupt them and tosses Kierra Hogan in the trash, sending a message to tag team champions. Hogan finds a trash bag with the name MICKIE interesting with July around the corner.
Satoshi Kojima w/ Eddie Edwards vs. Rhino w/ Violent By Design
This match-up had the words “Hard Hitting” all over, and that’s exactly what it was. Always a great sight when Kojima hits his rapid-fire chops, which brings up his momentum. And the New Japan legend gets the victory with a lariat. With this win, it sets up a future tag team title shot with Eddie Edwards next week.
Winner: Satoshi Kojima
Sami Callihan invades the ring and calls out Don Callis and Kenny Omega. Before security can do anything, Scott D’Amore comes out to calm down Callihan. Callihan agrees to do these things D’Amores way, who has his back and disappears. Don Collis tells D’Amore that he has a soft spot for these wrestlers, and there’s a reason they don’t wrestle anymore because they are better than them. Tommy Dreamer comes out to reveal that he is the one sent by Anthem to drop the news that Callihan is not fire and it is Don Callis who’s fired. Callus leaves angry, and Callihan finds him to tell him that he will bash Kenny Omega’s brains in
