The sport of professional wrestling kicked off the final month of 2022 with an IMPACT as the fallout from November’s Over Drive continued to unfold. Mickie James put her career on the line once again, this time against Deonna Purrazzo, while another IMPACT legend proved he wasn’t very hard to kill.
That’s right, Cody Deaner stabbed Eric Young on television, becoming the new leader of Violent by Design. Following tonight’s program, it was noted by PWInsider that this was a way to write EY off of television for good as he’s set to return to WWE. Tonight’s affairs also featured a match between Bully Ray and Rich Swann.
