JOHN CENA SET TO COMPETE AT WRESTLEMANIA
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that plan were for John Cena to have a match at WrestleMania 36.
Dave also stated that Cena was supposed to face Elias, the two have already had confrontations at the prvious two WrestleMania’s. John has already been announced for the 28th of February edition of SmackDown, it is assumed that the John and Elias storyline will start. This will give the pair six weeks to build to the Mania’ match.
Cena hasn’t competed since January last year while he has had filming comitments for various projects.
SASHA BANKS TO HAVE ROLE IN SEASON TWO OF ‘THE MANDALORIAN’
It has been reported that Sasha Banks has part in filming for the second season of The Mandalorian.
Season one of the Star Wars spin off series is currently airing on the Disney+ streaming service. It has recieved postive reviews, gaining a score of 8.8/10 on IMDB. The show its self is star studded, with the likes of Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, and Nick Nolte all appearing.
The second season is set to air in October.

Tynara Conti returned to a WWE ring after walking out in January.
Conti competed at an NXT Live event yesterday, teaming with MJ Jenkins and Jessi Kamera in a loosing effort to Aoife Valkyrie, Mia Yim, and Rita Reis.
Conti walked out of the company after a disagreement with management. It all seems to stem around the women’s battle royale match which closed the 15th of January episode of NXT. The match saw Bianca Belair win and earn a shot at Rhea Ripley’s NXT Championship.
TITO ORTIZ TRAINS AT PERFORMANCE CENTER
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, and UFC Hall of Famer, Tito Ortiz has reportidly been training at the WWE Performace Center in Florida.
The reports come form the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Dave Meltzer said that he’d heard good things about both Tito’s work ethic, and his enthusiasm.
MLW ACCUSES WWE OF CONTRACT TAMPERING
MLW has accused WWE of allegedly contract tampering, with lawyers from both sides meeting over this issues earlier this week.
While it isn’t clear exactly what has happened, although MLW’s contracts forbid stars from working with WWE.
It was noted that the legal moves have nothing to do with Davey Boy Smith Jr., who recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump. It was made clear however, that the issues lay with multiple other MLW stars.
ROH ANNOUNCE SUMIE SAKAI AS FIRST ENTRANT IN WOMENS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
Sumie Sakai has been announced as the first competitor in the upcoming 16-woman tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion. Sakai was the first and longest-reigning holder of the old Women of Honor Title.

Earlier today ROH announced that Sumie Sakai was the first name entered into the upcoming sixteen woman tournament. The prize for the winner is the new Women’s World Championship.
The new title replaces the Women of Honor title, which the company has used since the end of 2017. The first round of the tournament kicks off on the 24th of April in Philadelphia.
MVP CONFIRMS BACKSTAGE ROLE WITH WWE
Speaking with Booker T on his Hall of Fame podcast, MVP has confirmed the he will be working with WWE as a backstage producer.
MVP confirmed the rumours that his in ring days were behind him, saying that while he would be happy to work in front of the camera, he didn’t make those decisions.
Well, look, I’ll say this. I’m gonna go ahead, I’m gonna give you the scoop. Whether or not I’ll be seen on WWE television more has yet to be seen, because, you know, I don’t make those decisions,” MVP began. “I would definitely make myself available for an on-screen role in some capacity. But I’ll be joining the team as a backstage producer, so, there’s your scoop.”

Fight Club: Pro has announced a new title, the Fight Club: PRO Open-Weight Fighting Championship.
Eight stars will be in with a chance of being crowed the inaurgral champion. The first round will take place on the 13th of March, at The Hanger, Wolverhampton.

WWE has announced that it is to hold its ‘largest talent tryout’ in Saudi Arabia later this year.
The event, schedualed for early June, will give up to 50 potential star the oppitunity to impress WWE brass. As always, the goal is to earn a contract with the WWE. Triple H had the following to say about the latest tryout in the country:
We are excited to return to Saudi Arabia following the success of our first tryout in 2018 where we recruited a variety of elite athletes from the Middle East, including standout talent Mansoor, who has already played a meaningful role in various WWE events in Saudi Arabia.
