JOHN CENA JOINS ‘SUICIDE SQUAD’ CAST

As revealed on twitter by director and writer James Gunn, John Cena has been officially announced as a part of the upcoming second Suicide Squad movie.

He will join such stars as Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Michael Rooker and Peter Capaldi in the film, with no confirmed release date.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Australian independent wrestling talent Indi Hartwell has signed for NXT and will report to the WWE Performance Center in the next class.

Debuting in 2016, the 22-year old Hartwell rose to the top of the women’s indie scene, working in Melbourne City Wrestling, SHIMMER, RISE, and BattleClub Pro.

Indi posted a photo of her farewell party from the MCW Academy.

THUNDER ROSA TO MAKE MMA DEBUT

As reported by ESPN, former Lucha Underground talent Thunder Rosa has signed a multi-fight deal with MMA promotion, Combate Americas. This is the promotion ran by former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio.

Rosa will be making her debut on Friday, November 8 in San Antonio, Texas, under her ring name.

He has alsosigned Rosa to work for his wrestling promotion, Nación Lucha Libre.

DR WAGNER JR. TO APPEAR AT BOUND FOR GLORY

Impact Wrestling has announced that The Rascalz trio of Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel will team against Wagner and two partners at Bound for Glory. 

Wagner wrestling at the pay-per-view was announced when he appeared at Impact’s television tapings in Mexico City last month when Wagner said that he and other wrestlers from Lucha Libre AAA would be at Bound for Glory.

SCOTTY DAVIS WINS NATURAL PROGRESSION SERIES

L.A.X BID FAREWELL TO PROGRESS?

In several Instagram post, it appears that L.A.X are saying farewell to the independent scene, starting with PROGRESS Wrestling.

They teamed and won alongside Eddie Kingston against Chris Brookes, Jonathan Gresham and Jordynne Grace in a wild street fight at the Natural Progression Series show. Following that, Santana tweeted ‘Thank you @thisis_progress. Forever grateful. #LAXvsCCK4Ever.”

Santana and Ortiz have recently signed with All Elite Wrestling.
