KYLIE RAE FIRST POST AEW BOOKING ANNOUNCED

Freelance Underground Wrestling has announced the inclusion of Kylie Rae at the Clash of Genders event, booked for this evening.

The show, which is billed as the first intergender show in the Chicago area, will see Kylie Rae face off against Isaias Velazquez. This will be Rae’s first show since leaving AEW. Tony Khan originally announced Rae’s departure from the promotion. Speaking at the post AllOut media scrum, Khan said:

“She is no longer with us. She asked for her release and we granted it. She called me and asked if she could be released from her contract, it was pretty simple. I said ‘Yeah’ and asked if everything was okay. She said, ‘Yeah,’ and didn’t want to be with the company anymore.”

“HACKSAW” JIM DUGGAN HOSPITALISED

Jim Duggan has been rushed to hospital reports PWInsider. Although the nature of the medical emergency hasn’t been made public, Jim has suffered recently with his health.

Less than a year ago Jim was again rushed to a hospital, this time to the Intensive Care Unit. Jim’s heart was in AFib (abnormal heart rhythm). Jim then had surgery in March, describing the procedure as aking to internal defibrillation.

As a result of this latest problem, Jim has had to cancel a number of upcoming convention appearances.

The “Hacksaw” was the first winner of the Royal Rumble in 1988, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, and former WCW World Television and United States champion.

We here at TMW News would like to wish Jim a speedy recovery.

NEW RAW AND SMACKDOWN STAGES

The popular and scarily accurate Twitter account WrestleVotes has claimed that this week will be the last for the current RAW and SmackDown stages.

With SmackDown heading over to FOX on the 4th of October, it seems WWE is taking the opportunity to refresh both brands. RAW that week is coming from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, which has advertised that the show will be ‘season premiere’.

WrestleVotes went on, when asked if the two shows will be getting different set, the account confirmed that each show would get a unique set.

YOUNG BUCKS HINT AT UK TV DEAL

The Young Bucks have spoken about the possibility of AEW: Dynamite coming to UK television with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT.

During the interview the pair were asked is the promotion was any closer to securing a UK TV deal, Matt and Nick responded, saying the negotiations were still ongoing at present.

There are obviously cogs in motion at the moment, with Matt saying:

“I wish I could shout what I know from the rooftops,”

When pressed about the possibility of a deal being done ahead of the show’s debut on the 2nd of October, Nick responded:

“I don’t want to say yes and then it’s not,”

With the quotes above and the fact that the pair wouldn’t be drawn on any further details, airing live, channel etc, it is thought that a deal could be very close to being done.

WXW SUSPENDS MARIUS AL-ANI

German wrestling promotion wXw has suspended Marius Al-Ani following an “improper fan interaction”. The company doesn’t mention how long the star will be suspended for.

Although the company doesn’t mention the reason for the suspension, chatter on social media is pointing to Marius fronting up to an abusive fan during the show.

Some reports state that the wrestler went further, slapping the fan after being called a “son of a bitch”.
