LARS SULLIVAN INJURY UPDATE
Lars Sullivan’s journey to the main roster seems to have hit another roadblock. After making his main roster debut at Super ShowDown, defeating Lucha House party via DQ, Sullivan faced them again on the following RAW. This time the match would be elimination based. Again Lars won again and in much more an emphatic style. Lars was set to face Matt Hardy the next night on SmackDown, however, the match was scratched as Lars had reportedly picked up an injury.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer had the following to say:
“Lars Sullivan was supposed to wrestle Matt Hardy, maybe they’ll do that next week because that was pulled because Lars Sullivan had a minor injury.”
Unfortunately Dave has been forced to update the F4Wonline website, apparently, Lars’ injury isn’t as benign as first hoped:
“The knee injury to Lars Sullivan that kept him off SmackDown Tuesday is worse than originally believed. There are no definitive details until he undergoes an MRI, but it doesn’t look like a small thing and he’ll be back Monday at this point.”
MANY STARS “WANT OUT” OF WWE
Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer has reported that many WWE superstars want out of their WWE contracts. What’s more, the stars specifically want to move to new promotion AEW. Dave commented that people would be shocked by the number of stars who have reached out so far.
Dave continued saying that WWE was trying to stem the flow by offering stars more money to stay. For some stars, money isn’t the issue, with stars feeling miserable, more may need to be done to hold on to key talent.

ADAM ROSE TAPS OUT IN RETIREMENT MATCH
Last night, Adam Rose competed in his retirement match, tapping out to Bull James in the main event. Rose was competing for the final time at Atomic Revolutionary’s Wrestling Star Spangled Slammer event.
Rose was given a fitting send off, with reports of a ring covered in streamers for his entrance. At the end of the match, the locker room surrounded the ring at ‘Thank You Adam’ chants filled the arena.
Rose debuted in 1995 and worked the indy circuit before being signed to the WWE in 2010. Rose was released by the WWE in 2016, earlier in the week Rose spoken to the Orlando Sentinel about his leaving the WWE:
“I was an idiot at the end – a moron, a bumbling buffoon,” Rose said. “I made mistake after mistake, a lot of them out of self-sabotage because I was so unhappy. I developed a drug addiction and just acted out in every way. The fact that WWE let me leave on what I consider good terms and helped me get clean is a miracle.”
