BECKY LYNCH & CHARLOTTE FLAIR TO FACE SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY ON RAW

It was announced this afternoon that Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will team with Charlotte Flair against SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks on Monday’s Raw in Madison Square Garden.

Bayley reunited with Banks at the end of this week’s Raw and beat down Lynch with a steel chair followed by the next night on SmackDown where Charlotte also ended up getting laid out with a chair by Bayley and Banks.

Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s title against Sasha Banks and Bayley is defending her SmackDown Live Women’s title against Charlotte at Clash of Champions on September 15th.

FIRE & DESIRE TO FACE BLISS & CROSS FOR WOMEN’S TAG TITLE AT CLASH OF CHAMPIONS

Following their victory last week on SmackDown Live, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville will face champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

SAMI CALLIHAN TO CHALLENGE BRIAN CAGE FOR IMPACT WORLD TITLE

Brian Cage is officially set to defend his Impact World title against Sami Callihan at the pay-per-view.

On last week’s Impact, Callihan issued an ultimatum for Impact to give him his title shot or have Cage drop the title due to his back issues. During last night’s episode, Cage said he will not allow the title to be stripped from him, saying he’s going to be ready for Bound for Glory and will defend his title against Callihan.

Callihan became the number one contender to the title by defeating Tessa Blanchard at August’s Impact Plus Unbreakable special.

RIC FLAIR SAYS HE HAS SIGNED A DEAL WITH ADIDAS

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair spoke with TMZ Sports and revealed he’s signed a deal with Adidas.

In a video posted earlier today, the former 16-time World Champion said;

“Ready for the good news? Adidas thinks I’m ‘The Man.’ I signed a deal with them, and we’re fixin’ to make Nike the second brand. It’s not gonna be Air Jordan anymore, it’s gonna be Air Flair, and I can’t jump. It’s gonna be Adidas, Wooo!”

Flair said he couldn’t give any more details at the moment.

This comes after Flair had said he is planning to sue the WWE for ‘The Man’ trademark after it is now being used by Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. He also recently filed a trademark for ‘The Man’

AAA ANNOUNCES CAIN VELASQUEZ OPPONENT FOR INVADING NY

In a press release, AAA revealed that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Velasquez will be teaming with Psycho Clown & Brian Cage in a six-man tag match against Taurus, Texano Jr. & Rey Escorpion at Lucha Libre AAA’s Invading NY event on Sunday, September 15th.

Cain Velasquez made his wrestling debut at TripleMania XXVII last month, when he, Psycho Clown & Cody Rhodes defeating Taurus, Texano Jr. & Killer Kross.

KATEY HARVEY RETURNS TO OTT WRESTLING, TO CHALLENGE FOR OTT WOMEN’S TITLE

At OTT Wrestling’s ‘Road to 5th Anniversary’ event in Dublin, Katey Harvey made her shocking return to challenge OTT Women’s Champion Valkyrie at the 5th Anniversary show.

Harvey has been out for some time after dislocating, fracturing and shattering both her elbows after a dive went wrong at the start of 2019.
