WWE BEAT AEW IN THE WEDNESDAY RATINGS ONCE AGAIN
For the third week in a row, WWE’s NXT has outperformed AEW’s Dynamite, drawing 44,000 more viewers.
Both companies were down on the previous week, interestingly both shed exactly 33,000 viewers. NXT drew 759,000 viewers, while AEW saw an average of 715,000. Between both companies, 66,000 fewer viewers tuned in to watch the second nights of Fyter Fest and The Great American Bash.

AEW won in the key 18-49 demographic, they also lead 2020 23 weeks to 5. Tony Khan posted to Twitter that he was happy with the numbers, and was mostly focused on the 18-49 demographic.

Sami Zayn took to Twitter early this morning to post a picture of the brand new mobile medical clinic on location in Syria.
Zayn started the campaign back in August of 2017 and has so far raised over $109,000 of a $144,000 goal. Sami for Syria is run in conjunction with SAMS (Syrian American Medical Society). SAMS aims to provide aid to the Syrian people who have struggled through civil war which started in 2011 and continues to this day. The main aims of the mobile medical centres are to provide aid to those suffering from malnutrition and deteriorating health and to provide medical services and medications.
MIZ’S NEW TV SHOW PREMIERES
The first episode of Miz’s new TV show ‘Cannonball’ has premiered on YouTube.
The first full episode has been uploaded to YouTube by USA Network and is available to watch free of charge (as long as you live in the United States). The show borrows the same format as the popular Wipeout series, namely contestants take part in a huge obstacle course with inflatables and water used abundantly.

In happy news, Angelo Dawkins announced to the world that he had become a father.
One-half of the RAW tag team champions, Dawkins’ announced the addition with the simple “Welcome to the fam lil homie #fatherhood.”.

Angelo seems to be slipping into dad-life well, tweeting that his new little lad had tried to escape while having a diaper changed, something that many new dads can relate to.
AEW CONFIRM MORE MATCHES FOR ‘FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN’

During night two of Fyter Fest, the AEW commentary team confirmed three more matches for next week’s special, ‘Fight for the Fallen’. As with Fyter Fest, the special will air during the normal Dynamite time slot. The three matches announced were:
- Lucha Bros vs. FTR
- Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express
- Cody (c) vs. Sonny Kiss TNT Championship title match
These three matches join Jon Moxley defending his AEW Championship against Brian Cage. The match was supposed to take place during night two of Fyter Fest, but due to Jon’s close proximity to Renee (who recently tested positive for COVID-19, though has since recovered), it had to be postponed.

Taking place tomorrow in the Osaka Jo Hall, NJPW will see the conclusion to the 2020 New Japan Cup. The final of the tournament will see Kazuchika Okada vs. EVIL, with the winner going on to face Tetsuya Naito for both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles on Sunday.
