    UNDERTAKER CONFIRMED FOR SUPER SHOWDOWN

Earlier today WWE confirmed that The Undertaker would be appearing at tomorrow’s Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia.

Teasing fans with the above post, WWE has written the following on their website:

Reports have been swirling in advance of WWE Super ShowDown that The Undertaker had been sighted in a market in Saudi Arabia.. If true, why is he there?

His rumored presence obviously lends itself to more questions than answers. Undertaker’s in-ring appearances are an increasing rarity, and he is not yet advertised for a match at tomorrow’s show. Depending on how things shake out, we could be seeing a surprise appearance at Super ShowDown. It could, of course, be equally likely that The Deadman won’t be competing and will instead simply add his presence to the festivities. Tomorrow will bring the answers. Until then, we wait.

At the moment, the apparent plan is for Taker’ to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania. WWE hasn’t released any information as to what the Deadman is doing in Saudi Arabia, but we know AJ is involved in the Tuwaiq Trophy gauntlet match. Aj will compete alongside Andrade, Bobby Lashley, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio for the right to lift the trophy after the final bell.

PWInsider has reported that the Undertaker is booked to appear on the 9th of March episode of RAW.

As noted above, at the moment the Undertaker is in Saudi Arabia and looks set to take part in tomorrow’s Super ShowDown event. While it hasn’t been confirmed what exactly the Undertaker will be doing, he is expected to start a program with AJ Styles, leading to a WrestleMania match.

The 9th of March RAW will be taking place at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC. It will be taking place on the night after Elimination Chamber. Edge is also booked for the show and will be giving an update on his injuries. Shayna Baszler is also booked on the show, but it is supposed to be for a special appearance.

According to the website, there have been talks with Matt about moving him over to the yellow brand. While it isn’t clear if the offer was for a move backstage, in front of the camera, or a combination of the two. What is clear is the WWE doesn’t want to lose Matt.
