In another match of the year candidate, Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega went to a staggering SIXTY MINUTE time limit draw in a front of capacity crowd in Osaka, Japan. The draw does mean that the IWGP Heavyweight Title stays with ‘The Rainmaker’ but it now leaves the wrestling world clambering for the third chapter in his now legendary rivalry.

There was also FOUR new champions crowned tonight with Hiroshi Tanahashi defeating Tetsuya Naito to capture the IWGP Intercontinental Title and 2017 Best Of The Super Juniors winner KUSHIDA defeated Hiromu Takahashi  to capture the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, only for BUSHI to come out post-match and mist KUSHIDA, stating his intentions for that title.

The Bullet Club got all their tag gold back as Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Roa) defeated War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) to regain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and The Young Bucks beat Roppongi Vice to win their sixth IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title via submission.
