Hiromu Takahashi came to the ring to open the show and said that he is recovering well from his injury and that when he is back to 100%, he will challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Takahashi pumped up the crowd and then previewed the card.

Singles Match For The Vacant IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
Shingo Takagi defeated Kazuchika Okada to become the new Champion. It’s Shingo‘s first reign as IWGP Champion.
Shingo Takagi has been crowned the new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion during today’s NJPW Dominion 6.7 in Osaka-jo Hall event in Osaka, Japan, defeating Kazuchika Okada in the main event of the show to become the new Champion.
The title was recently vacated by New Japan Pro Wrestling as former Champion Will Ospreay returned to the United Kingdom to undergo treatment on a neck injury.
