NWA Powerrr Results – February 25, 2020

Matty Deller runs down the results from tonights episode of NWA Powerrr.

It’s all about Girl Powerrr as the World Women’s Title is on the line between a mentor and her student

We open with Sean Mooney running down the card for tonight’s show.

Dave Marquez introduces his guest, Tim Storm. He talks about the rough time he has had lately, but Momma Storm didn’t raise no quitter. Thomas Latimer comes out and says Strictly Business is done with him and he is fed up of him driving a wedge between him and NWA Champion Nick Aldis. He says he is Aldis’ friend but if they were to face off – may the best man win.

Danny Deals comes out and reveals he was the man who played Momma Storm. He offers Tim Storm a deal, and offers him a tag partner. All Storm cares about is getting his hands on Danny Deals, so Deals offers him a match; if his guy wins, Storm has to get his guy a contract but if he loses, Tim Storm gets five minutes with Danny Deals.

Danny Deals brings out his guy, Jax Dane and the pair go nose-to-nose.

Dave Marquez talks to Matt Cross, who introduces himself to the audience as a world-travelled veteran. Cross says this seems like the time and place for him to make a name in the US because wrestling is forever and so is Matt Cross.

Zicky Dice defeated Ricky Starks and Matt Cross via pinfall

We have a bit of back and forth between Starks and Dice until Matt Cross jump starts proceedings with a big dive. We then get some back and forth between Starks and Cross, until Dice capitalizes on a double clothesline and tries to pick up the quick win. Dice gets taken out again by the other two men, and Cross capitalizes by hitting the Cross Cutter. Cross nails the shooting star press, but Dice throw Cross to the outside and steals the win.

Joy of joys, we get another Mae Valentine’s diary. We find out that Royce Isaacs told her he loves her, her and Sal Rinaro have become best friends and Kamille isn’t as scary as people think.

Joe Galli introduces his guest, NWA National Champion Aron Stevens. Galli calls him out on running away from his matches, which Stevens denies. Stevens says he is a fighting champion, detailing all the people that could not take the title away from him.

Trevor Murdoch defeated The Question Mark via pinfall

Trevor Murdoch came out hot with a trio of clotheslines, Mark went for the Mongrovian spike but hit the turnbuckle and Trevor Murdoch hit the top-rope bulldog for the win.

Aron Stevens then jumped Murdoch from behind, laying him out with several vicious elbows in the corner.

Sean Mooney brings out the NWA World Champion Nick Aldis. Nick Aldis tells everyone how good he looks and talks about how he is carrying the NWA. He offers Marty Scurll one chance to back out of the deal they made, as long as he tells the world Aldis is the better man.

Marty Scurll then comes out, and says he is not backing out of the deal. He challenges Aldis to a fight and offers him out in the ring. Aldis asks him if he wants to do this, and Strictly Business arrives. All three men surround the ring but Villain Enterprises member Brody King makes the save and an all-out brawl breaks out.

Dave Marquez introduces Eddie Kingston, who is taping his hand as he makes his way to the podium. He says there is no more distractions, it’s down to them two. Kingston dares Pope to come out and face him right now. The Pope joins him, and talks about what Pope wants, Pope gets. The Bouncers join Kingston, but Pope says that if he wants beer, he will have one. Shockingly, The Bouncers attack Kingston and lat him out in the middle of the ring.

We get a video package for tonight’s main event between Melina and Thunder Rosa.

Sean Mooney announced the Rock and Roll Express as the first team in the 2020 Crockett Cup.

NWA Women’s Title: Champion Thunder Rosa defeated Melina via countout to retain her title

The two square off, and Melina seemed more interested in negotiating than fighting. Thunder Rosa shoves Melina, who rolls to the outside and walks away, losing via count out.

As Melina walks away, Allisyn Kay appears and marches her down the ring. Kay lays in a big right hand but as she does, Kamille appears and takes out Kay with a spear. Her and Thunder Rosa stare down to close the show.
