We open with a recap of the goings-on between Kamille, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and pretty much all of the major storylines on the show.
Joe Galli and Jim Cornette run down the action for tonight.
Dave Marquez interviews NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Dave asks about Kamille and says her actions are seperate to his when they are not together. He announces he will be wrestling Trevor Murdoch, but the title is not on the line tonight, as it will be an ‘exhibition match’.
Nick Aldis defeated Trevor Murdoch via submission
In this ‘exhibition match’, Trevor Murdoch took advantage of the ring ropes into the groin of Aldis to take early control of the champ, as Jim Cornette makes a pretty off-colour comment regarding Ethiopians. Murdoch goes the top-rope bulldog, but Aldis gets the ropes. Murdoch missed a drop kick from the top rope, which allowed Aldis to lock in the Kings Lynn cloverleaf for ths submission victory. A decent opener.
Colt Cabana joins the commentary team for the following contest.
The Question Mark vs Ricky Starks ends in a no contest
The crowd LOVES The Question Mark. Question Mark gets the early advantage, but Starks uses his speed to take control. Just as Starks looks set to seal the deal, Aron Stevens attacks for the DQ.
Stevens and Question Mark layout Stevens with a series of throat thrusts until Colt Cabana makes the save. Question Mark is still over even with the heel antics.
Eli Drake talks to Joe Galli about Ken Anderson, the crowd are more interested in the Question Mark. He tells Anderson if he’s looking for him, he’ll ship him back to Minnesota and calls him past it. Anderson interrupts and says he’s seen it and done it all but he is sick of Drake running his mouth and challenges him to a match. Drake looks set to accept, but attacks Anderson from behind and lays him out with a turnbuckle.
We get a recap of the issues between NWA Women’s Champion Allisyn Kay, Marti Belle and Thunder Rosa.
Marti Belle & Thunder Rosa defeated Ashley Vox & NWA Women’s Champion Allisyn Kay
Belle and Vox take an early advantage over the inexperienced Vox until Vox hit a dropkick from the middle rope to get the tag to Kay. Kay and Rosa battle with Thunder Rosa getting the upper hand until Allisyn Kay hit a big superplex. Melina made her way to ringside and caused the distraction, leading to Thunder Rosa getting the roll-up on the champion.
Melina celebrated with her two new clients and the drumbeat played.
NWA National Champion Colt Cabana & Ricky Starks vs Aron Stevens & The Question Mark
Question Mark did the lion’s share of the work, working over Ricky Starks as Aron Stevens picked his spots. Stevens mooned the crowd, and the distraction allowed Starks to hit a slingblade and get the tag to Cabana. Ricky Starks tries to take the mask of the Question Mark, but Stevens rakes the eyes of Starks, one throat thrust later and Stevens picks up the win. This was a fun main event.
Stevens and Question Mark celebrate, and as Dave Marquez is about to wrap up and James Storm cuts an expletive promo about not getting his opportunity at the NWA Title. Kamille walks out, whispers into his ear and James Storm looks very happy as we close.
