NXT UK Results – 28th November, 2019

Dei Owen runs down the results from tonight’s episode of NXT UK.

NXT UK once again emanates from the Bonus Arena in Hull, with a big main event pitching Imperium against Gallus and Ilja Dragunov.

Piper Niven defeated Jinny w/ Jazzy Gabert via pinfall

Jazzy Gabert got barred from ringside after putting her hands on Niven. Niven’s pinfall victory came after hitting Jinny with a Michinoku Driver.

After the match, Piper Niven cut a promo directed at Kay Lee Ray, saying that she is coming for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. This prompted Ray to confront Niven and slap her, but Niven retaliated quickly. KLR tried to come back, but Toni Storm ran out to help her friend.

Eddie Dennis defeated Dereiss Gordon via pinfall

This was Dennis in-ring return after a left pectoral injury took him out for eight months. This was also Dereiss Gordon’s NXT UK debut, and commentary described him as being under Trent Seven’s wing. Gordon left a very good impression here by showing tremendous agility. Dennis hit a Seven Stars Lariat before finishing with a Next Stop Driver for the win.

Joseph Conners told Radzi that he is “TakeOver worthy”, and that he wants Travis Banks and Ligero in a triple threat match.

Noam Dar defeated Ashton Smith via pinfall

This match came after Smith challenged Dar last week. Dar got the win with a Novaroller.

Two matches were set for next week:

Jordan Devlin vs. A-Kid

Travis Banks vs. Ligero vs. Joseph Conners

Imperium (WALTER, Marcel Barthel, Fabian Aichner & Alexander Wolfe) vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) and Ilja Dragunov ended in a double count-out

WWE UK Champion WALTER remained outside the ring throughout most of the match. He stood off against Joe Coffey when he finally made it into the ring. Wolfgang and Mark Coffey’s tandem offence was particularly impressive. Dragunov and Wolfe started fighting in the crowd then everyone else brawled, causing the double count-out.
