NXT UK ANNOUNCE NEXT TAKEOVER SPECIAL

Before tonight’s NXT UK tapings in Hull, it was revealed the next NXT UK TakeOver special will return to Blackpool.

This was the site of the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver last year. It will take place in 2020, although a date has not been confirmed.

WWE REPORTEDLY TRIED TO REACH OUT TO JORDAN MYLES

Jordan Myles announced he quit WWE on Wednesday, following weeks of controversy following his accusation of his merchandize being racially insensitive.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE did pull the t-shirt from WWE Shop as soon as Myles complained and reportedly none were sold. WWE officials reportedly “very much tried” working with Myles to help him out in the weeks before he went public with his issues. PWInsider also reported that Myles had not been at the Performance Centre for several weeks, but that there was no word yet on if that had anything to do with his unhappiness over the t-shirt design.

TWO MATCHES MADE FOR TONIGHT’S SMACKDOWN

A pair of matches have been made for tonights SmackDown.

Mustafa Ali & Shorty G vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode has been announced with the stipulation that if Ziggler & Roode win, they’ll take Ali & Shorty G’s spots in the men’s triple threat elimination tag match.

Roman Reigns, King Corbin, Braun Strowman, Ali & Shorty G have been announced as SmackDown’s team for the men’s elimination match.

Also, The Revival are receiving their rematch for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The New Day.

TWO MATCHES MADE FOR 205 LIVE

In addition, three matches have been made for tonight’s episode of 205 Live.

Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush will team with Raul Mendoza against Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese, Angel Garza will take on Jack Gallagher and 24/7 Champion Samir Singh will defend his title on the episode.

AEW FULL GEAR PAY-PER-VIEW BUYS

In the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that AEW Full Gear hit around 100,000 pay-per-view buys.

Each number is similar to the buys for their last pay-per-view, All Out, which took place on August 31st. Meltzer noted that the digital numbers for Full Gear were similar to both All Out and AEW’s first pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing. Double Or Nothing had more buys on cable.

JACOB FATU SIGNS MULTI-YEAR AEW DEAL

Major League Wrestling announced Friday that current world champion Jacob Fatu has signed a multi-year deal to remain with the company.

This was first reported by PWInsider and then confirmed, Fatu’s deal is an exclusive one but MLW will retain control over Fatu’s independent bookings and how he’s used.

A pro since 2012, Fatu signed with MLW earlier this year and won the company’s world title by beating Tom Lawlor this summer.

TWO MORE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR ROH FINAL BATTLE

Ring of Honor announced two more matches for their Final Battle pay-per-view.

Matt Taven will face Vincent (formally Vinny Marseglia), and ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor will defend against Dragon Lee on December 13th in Baltimore.
